So apparently Galatasaray want to loan him for the rest of the season. Don't see that happening now that we finally have solidly performing rotation options out wide and him being one of them.
Unless we have someone incoming at that position, but nah.

Its nice to feel confident that ur keeper will successfully clsim a cross 99 times out of 100
There was a free kick recently (I think from Eze) where he started to move to his left in anticipation of where he expected the ball to be heading towards, but it was actually struck at exactly where he was initially positioned so he had to slightly contort his body but still graciously and elegantly plucked the ball out of the air like a basketball player snatching the ball out of the air rather than blocking it into row Z. Granted, he didn't have to move much, but can't think of another keeper who wouldn't have parried that or tipped it over the bar. He's the real deal.

Surely there has to be a better option or contingency plan than to be postponing matches mere hours before kick-off?
I mean, think of us fantasy players...

Piss take by De Gea, maybe he thought it was intentional and tried to get him sent off.
Same as Bruno. Never seen a footballer go down holding his head as much as that dirty word removed.

Jesus, United look like they're training for the GB synchronized diving team.

Mike Dean once said on the Peter Crouch podcast that because he is so experienced and knowledgeable he can make a decision being 30 yards away when a younger ref will need to be 10/15 yards away to make that call.
The arrogance of that statement and the absolute lack of self criticism or a desire to improve the decision making process shows how far detached the "elite" referees are.

What the **** was Johnstone doing in fairness?
He knew I transferred him in as fantasy keeper and wanted to relieve me of the stress of clean sheet points early.

must be the 1st time in years his thread dropped to Page 2
I dont buy the bullshit yesterday that he fouled Christensen, i know its the bitter anti Grealish brigade but seems that even some in the media think Jack getting fouled was actually an assault on Christensen and a free out
Jack left his leg out, that's undeniable. But, he didn't need to, he was getting fouled regardless. That's the point missed by these "trolls".

They've even got a thread on their forum called 'Grealish School of Theatrics' especially for posting about Grealish's diving, it's less than a month old but already has over twenty pages, it's basically full of over the top hatred and angry vitriol, a lot of them claiming that they wouldn't want him in their side because he's a 'cheat', or that Bielsa wouldn't want him because he doesn't like players that try to win free kicks.
Yep, only likes players that try to audaciously win pens or get others sent off.

From what I understand, the FA did not say "oh, lot's of positive tests in City's team, let's postpone the game". Rather, they were advised to postpone it based on medical advice. Who that medical advice came from (e.g., external sources, medical personnel within the FA/City) I don't know, but how much say the FA had in this may not have been much at all.

Martinez
Cash Konsa Hause Targett
Luiz McGinn
El Ghazi Barkley Grealish
Watkins
60': Traore for Barkley
80': Ramsey for El Ghazi
90+4': Kalinic for Grealish, solely to karate kick Fernandes

He's world class playing through the middle, but have to say that when we are playing the top teams (i.e., primarily on the counter) I still prefer him on the left with Barkley in the middle (when available). That's how I would go vs Man U on Friday, especially needing some fresh legs, although it's a tough call though with El Ghazi and Traore performing so well.

Watching Davis today I can confidently say I'd love to see someone like Mandzukic come in. If not him someone as experienced and skilled who can keep the ball. Had he been available to come on today with Watkins going to the right we would have got a few more chances towards the end.
I want to see Davis finally score but we have to be ruthless moving forward.
I have also been thinking about an experienced striker on loan or short-term deal, but other than Mandzukic, who hasn't played in months and would cost a boatload, I'm struggling to think of any. Would be great for Watkins (and Davis) to have an experienced, classy forward to learn from. Someone else previously mentioned bringing in a top forward coach, which is also an option, but also don't know who may be available there either.

Let's see if Cavani starts tomorrow. Based on Ole's quotes today about Cavani going to be a starter more often than not, if he doesn't start tomorrow then I'd expect him to start against us. We'd need Hause's aerial ability there. Plus, Hause has barely put in a foot wrong in his four matches. Hard to see him dropped.

At first I gave a "Good" refereeing rating, but on second thought this might have been the best refereeing performance I've see this season. Let the game flow and be played as a contact sport. The players realized in the early minutes that he wasn't blowing his whistle for falling over with the slightest of touches and so there was very minimal "selling" the contact and rolling around. Good, hard-fought game from both sides. Only one I can think of would maybe be Luiz going down in a 50-50 in stoppage time, but I'll give him that one as surely he was exhausted. Also can't recall any decisions the ref got wrong. Top performance.

Lampard post match conference is one deluded and unhappy man .
we more than deserved that point , back 4 was superb again on the whole and McGinn dominated in midfield , wish he would release the ball a bit quicker at times through .
be interesting to see how Barkley gets back in the team .
for a change , I thought we had a good ref , loved how he let play go and tried to stop the play acting , need a few more like that ...

75th minute and Ollie at a full sprint back to the halfway line from a corner to cover the defender. Immense work rate.
