Ollie will play regardless of form. As his defensive work justifies it. And he is the least likely player to get injured in the team. So I'd rather invest in backups for other areas of the team and strengthen the first 11.

A striker is not a priority, if there is a good one available for a robbery then we will do it but most likely we will just sign another winger who can play upfront if needed.

It is ridiculous to say that we should be investing much if any money into a backup striker when we have players who can play there. But have no one who can cover in other key areas of the pitch.

Benteke fits for me , free and gives our younger lads a chance to develop push into the squad in 2 years or so when he is that bit older

What is the point when he isn't a clearly better player, we don't need any midfielders that aren't clearly better.

Would add depth to the squad and at 21 adds huge potential , like said if fee is anywhere near that , it's not big risk, when you see how easy Tierney has settled to premier League and then McGinn with us makes it more tempting

  3. Looks a far better player when Ollie is on the field with him , I've been very critical of him but has had decent moments this season, still don't think he is good enough for this level though

Apparently 3 states in the US allow execution by firing squad! South Carolina is poised to become state number 4, in the year 2021!

"The state House voted 66-43 Wednesday on legislation that would allow death row inmates to choose between being shot or electrocuted if lethal injection drugs aren't available. The state is one of nine that still use the electric chair and will become the fourth to use firing squads.

The state Senate approved the bill in March. After another routine vote in the House, the bill will head to the desk of Republican Gov. Henry McMaster, who said he will sign it. "

My cousin wrote a classic song that is sang in Celtic park since covered by rod Stewart called Grace, it might feel along time ago but it's only a few generations for many of us, mad to think this kind of thing still goes on

Yeah I suppose the bet would have been a win via KO between 5-6 wouldn't it

Ya that's basically it, but in no way do they say that in the bet, they should really phrase its group rounds by stoppage, they send ya a link to tapoligy when I asked about it

Possibly man of the match today.

Watkins says hello, but seriously think this has been best game in a villa jersey, had good games before working off jack but this was more standout for me , still wouldn't buy him but well done ross

  7. Didn't looked bothered at all, walked around the field and offered nothing , didn't need to help Targett because of work sanson was putting in. Has to be gone in the summer , as good as he has been at times this season, he just is too unreliable

We look good today. Desperately miss Jack.

McGinn at his best so far. Sanson looks good. Watkins heroic.

It's because the shift sanson is putting in beside him, have given John a lot more license to play football in the right area

All this talk about Luiz...every time I read people worried about City buying him I get flashbacks to the City game where he was often outpaced. I'm going to throw this out there...I don't think he's quick enough for them. I like him a lot, but a club like City can pretty much choose whoever they want on the planet. Is he destined to be the best DM in the league? I don't think so. He's clearly a good player though.

Problem is , is he worth more than his release clause ?nothing is stopping them buying him and selling him the next day, only thing that might stop this might be the market being slower during the pandemic

  10. Only got to see first half today , looked to be having good game again but was times where I thought he looked tired, it's concerning that we have Taylor waiting to come in if anything happens to him, everywhere else apart from up top we look like we could probably give players a break like Luiz today

Don't get the Rice hype with a lot of the media. He's pretty standard. 10 a penny kinda midfielder. Soucek is better. Proper nuisance at set pieces too.

Before this season I would have agreed with you but anytime I've seen them this season he has been excellent

I assume Leno and David Luiz will be absent for Arsenal versus us? (both got sent off versus Wolves - 2 x straight reds)

Is a slight irony that of all the teams they play next ,it is us with the best keeper they have had in years and they won't have Leno

I like Davis as a player, I know a lot of people want another back up striker but was thinking who could that be and who do other clubs have. I was looking at other clubs back up strikers. (im not an expert on the other clubs by the way)

Brighton- after Maupay they have Conolly and Welbeck

    Spurs- Bale??

    Leicester- Perez

    Newcastle- Caroll

West Ham -do they have one

    West Brom Robinson

    Arsenal - Nketier

    Palace Ayew

    Everton Tosun

    Southampton ??

    Leeds ??

    Wolves Silva

    Burnley Vydra

My point is as a back up striker I think Kienan is ok. I think we fans need to back up our back up striker.

All clubs you named I really would not like emulate, our goal has to be to push past these teams . Davis has had a lot of patience off the fans here and we all wish him well if he ends up leaving, but dream bigger mate , In my Wildest dreams didn't think we could be in the position we are , now let's push on
