This morning won't lie hated him, think we all thought he might stay, as the day has gone on, we spent a bit of money and calmed a bit, still think he will regret his decision as winning a medal for a bunch mercenaries will mean a lot less than captaining your boyhood club to silverware, think I potentially could forgive him if he was to some day come back

It's been mentioned in Ings thread, it's Tammys lack of work rate that lets him down, he doesn't press like Ollie and danny

In the last few years, the only concerning thing in my opinion is that glut of hamstring injuries in 18/19, and looking at the dates, it looks very much like him being rushed back and it being a single injury he didn't properly recover from, though that's a guess on my part. Other than that you''re going back to 2016 for him having a serious injury

From what I've seen of Southampton under hassenhuttl, he seemed to use Ings really well, he would sub him off around the 60min mark a bit and was willing to use him as sub aswell

Tammy is 100% more of a poacher than Ings. Don’t think he’s ever scored a goal more than 8 yards out. Ings scores all sorts of goals, he’s great in the air, good with both feet, presses well, can play as a 10 if needed. He pretty much ticks every box. Tammy isn’t a bad player but Ings has a better footballing brain and is a better all round player imo. Reading a bit of the Southampton forum, feel for them , they are basically us from this morning dejected and feel like the walls are coming in

From what I can gather, Norwich want Armstrong from Blackburn, we have just took Ings from Southampton and now they want Armstrong, we may have put Norwich in a situation where they might take less for Cantwell now to fund their move for Armstrong before they lose him

Ings 1/5 price is going in fast ,1/3 only few mins ago, can see this happening

Ings 29 years old and final year of contact, the fee would need to be fair and not over priced, his injury record scares hell out of me aswell

Priority this season must be ofc League position but the league cup, I want us getting our hands on first bit of silverware available this season and if he gets a loser medal in final perfect scenario

I'd take the risk on damsgaard if fee was reasonable, he looked better then grealish in Euros and think he not ever close to his ceiling

Gonna be hard to get deals done with this huge fee after coming in, assuming now it's pay over the odds for proved premier players or its get value on high risk similar to bailey
