  1. MON is doing his best. I have never been able to fathom out why some people have thought we should worship the ground he treads on and sought to silence any criticism. If some people have managed to contrive a ridiculously high opinion of his abilities and tried to convince others of how brilliant and loveable he is, that is hardly O'Neill's fault. 93% want him to continue being our manager.
  2. I couldn't get a stream and I can't pick up British radio where I live. But I'd be perfectly prepared to give all the players marks out of ten if anyone's interested.
  3. Words fail. So does O'Neill. Yes, because finishing 6th twice is a row is failling. Would you like to name a manager who could take over then? Or will you continue to spout off with your rubbish without actually naming a replacement? So what are you saying? That there's not a single manager in the whole wide world that you'd like us to have more than MON?
  4. feel exactly the same mate Well enjoy the Lyon game you two. These two posts perfectly illustrate the ridiculous fickleness of some of our fans. "I don't agree with the team selection so I'll not be watching." C'mon Villa!!! Yes come on everyone. Mind what you say.
  5. Up the wrong 'un in the bogs? Oooooooh oui! Oh, WC as in World Cup? No. Oh well too late, I've voted yes now.
  6. Aren't you usually complaining that MON isn't flexible and won't try different things? Or are you just annoyed that he won't do the things that you want?
  7. "barry's boots" blames it all on MON. There's a shock. A "friendly" post by briny_ear about another poster. There's a shock.
  8. Poor old Sunderland. Poor old Steve Bruce.
  9. 2 RB's on the bench, but if a CB gets injured then CC can move infield and they bring a RB on and still have one on the bench. And if CC gets injured a RB comes on. And if CC gets injured twice well they both come on. Or else MON will move Heskey to RB.
  10. Quality on the desk? Ah, good day at the office then.
  11. Really? and I guess you know more about football than a man who has owned a Premier League football club for more than 3 years and another man who as a player captained his country at the World Cup, won the league and the European Cup before spending 19 years as a manager? Just wondering what keen experienced footballing expert we are dealing with here. oooo you're out of hospital already how did your humour bypass go?
  12. She was crap anyway. Most of the goal threat came from the Cardboard Cutout of the Queen Mum.

    MON stay or go

Not what I am saying. Some of our wins stand out as great performances - Plop and Fulham, always in control and very comfortable wins and Blues was good tactics for that game. Citeh & Chelski I thought we dominated first half but let them get back in through their tactical changes/pressure and I would have liked MON to respond to this with changes to our set up. Wigan, Blackburn and Wolves I think he got it wrong but compounded this by not taking the opportunity to use his bench to shake it up a bit. Pompey was a dull game for me where we beat a poor side without ever looking good and, again, I would have liked to see a bit more imagination when we were 2-0 up. I'm sure the big 4, man city, spurs and everton could all look at the games they've had and pick out some that went well, some that didn't work and changes could have been made and some that didn't go to plan at all. For some reason though with us our manager must be replaced. 92% say otherwise. Relax.
  16. How do you think we would do with the judicious signings of Cristano Ronaldo from Real Madrid and Brown Fox, the large breasted Indian squaw from Fulchester United? (just forget about Wolfgang Schnell)
