Well, well, well.  That does change the lay of the land.

Finally seeing some kind of improvement.  He went out with an obvious game plan, made the right changes...excellent team selection and we looked better for it.

Oh yeah, and we **** well won.  Gold star for Remi "on garde".

Agreed, can't just critise him for all the tripe served thus far and not recognise when he's doing something right.

In the face of all the criticism, these players deserve credit for stepping up from it.  As long as we don't go to shit in the 2nd half.

Ayew is the heartbeat and him and Kozak seem to work reasonably well together.

Kozak is looking knackered already, he started off brightly and he's now making simple mistakes.  I would give him a 20-25min run out tops in 2nd half befor emaking a change.  Such an upgrade on Gestede though.

I have really enjoyued that first half, more than any football I can remember us playing for a long time.  And we're not losing, yet, lol.

THis team, well this performance (if we can keep it up over 90), is not a relegation side.

Finally, we're seeing improvements - and I attribute that to the manager.  I've been hacking him down for no sign of improvement in every other game, so iw ill give him credit if this keeps up.

He looks knackered already, but it's his first start in 2 years.  Might be worth making an early 2nd half sub for him.

But I think he has done a lot more than gestede, and he's looked good in parts...so much better than we've been used to in that position...
