    Wow

    well done Remi

i was only bacuna for Richards & Westwood for Bacuna out

no complaints from me for that

Oddly, it looks rather tasty.  God I hope this comes off, fair play to Remi...just notched up a point in my book.  It's a selection I can almost forgive even if it goes wrong, it shows he's not totally bereft of ideas already.

  2. IF he turns out to be crap now I'll just blaim this guy for jinxing him :-

" Libor Kozak starts his first game of the season. In fact, it's his first Premier League start since Boxing Day in 2013.  That day, Aston Villa lost 1-0 at home to Crystal Palace...  "

  3. Holy crap, he is starting?  Damn I passed my season ticket on already tonight, because I've to pack for flying out to Malaysia.

Would have like to seen if he actually does turn out to be any better than spare goal post.

    I agree with Blandy.

And it will not be a popular opinion, but from what I have seen, Gestede is better, and Gestede is fairly useless.

Bit soon for April fools, it's only January.

He has to prove himself by getting the very best out whats here, which I dont yet think he has, but he may. If he doesnt win any games, for example, we shouldnt keep him ! Thats hardly extreme !

I agree, and this is my biggest concern.  There seems to be a common belief that we have seen already the absolute best you can get out of this current set of players, I don't buy that but we'll find out by the end of the season if we get improvements.

The latter part isn't unreasonable either, 0 wins between now and the end of the season - I don't think anyone would be disagreeing with you.

Given the reactions here, I'm not sure a statement is a good idea.

Still, for this thread at least, hearing "the b****rd will just cobble together a lot of words that mean nothing, I hate him" is a nice change from "the b****rd never speaks to us, I hate him."

Hates a strong, I'm too apathetic towards him to feel such a strong emotion.

For instance it's not like I actually want him dead, I just couldn't care less if he dropped dead.

I'm firmly in the "give Garde until the end of the season" camp.

So am I, but through a forced proposition.  In so much that there is undoubtedly no plan B, and we just have to pray this one comes good.

Look Sherwood was useless and had to go but that does not mean Garde is any better because he is not Sherwood.  In fact it's pretty obvious he is not better. In fact,  I'll repeat what I said yesterday,  I am not sure why people expected anymore considering who has appointed him.

The idiots in charge at the club do not see any error in the way they work,  the culture or philosophy they have instilled or the kind of manager they want.  As a result they get those decisions wrong and will continue to get them wrong.  He is a poor manager ,  not because of their decision,  he just is because the philosophy they are recruiting against is wrong and failed.  We will not get a decent manager until it changes or they are replaced.  Does that mean Garde has to go now?  Well on one hand it will not make a blind bit of difference to the fortunes of the team.  However on the other hand Tom Fox going for a 5th manager in just under 12 months does give him and Lerner a great deal of embarrassment and highlight their ineptitude in running the club. So really I can't be arsed if he goes or not.

But in all seriousness by any measurable means there is no way anyone can argue that he is vastly better than Sherwood and retain seriousness.

One would be inclined to agree

I really do worry if he gets sacked because I think we'll just end up with another Sherwood-esque chancer who's all about PASHUN and nothing else.

That's the problem, I would have no problem in sacking this guy..fine, I think it would be pointless at this point we might as well stick but fine.  Though I would only be fine with it if they had someone proper lined up, and this you can almost certainly be assured they won't have.

It is a worrying prospect, just going from one bad decision to another (maybe even worse again).

So looks like it'll just be a few words on our position, in terms of how poor we're doing, and not any actual news.

' “At some point it is important that the Aston Villa voice for now is not only mine.” '

    Birmingham Mail.

Just a forced reassurance of usual bollocks, nothing new confirmed.
