  1. Another incredibly frustrating day, I thought we played much better than we have been under Lambert and at least had quite a few chances to score. Another really poor goal to concede which we can't afford to do when we score the amount we do. There are some small positives I'm trying to cling on to, the chances created and the fact that mostly all the other results went our way.

I still think we got rid of Lambert far too late and that is ultimately what will cost us. West Brom really could be a season defining game, win and we've got a good chance but lose and I think that's it.

  2. I really detest Weimann, so much, possibly the only Villa player I actually hate even though half of them are shite. One of the worst thoughts about us going down is that he'd start every week in the Championship.

  3. Cleverley hasn't worked out the entire season, Gabby doesn't do anything, and Lowton just isn't as good as Cissokho.

Bacuna, Grealish, Gil, Cissokho...IMO all should have started, so yeah, team selection is a problem today. We had a 10 minute spell of decent pressure, and the rest of the half we looked same old tired Villa with no ideas, awful passing, terrible set pieces and mental errors.

I'm pretty sure Cissokho is injured.

  4. We need to find a way to get him on the ball further up the pitch and more centrally, so that he can hurt the opposition more. I'd like him just behind Benteke rather than being stuck to the wing. Wonder if his injury was a part of the decision to take him off.

  5. Gutting, absolutely gutting.

We need to find a way to get Gil involved higher up the pitch, like they did with Ireland. We showed a bit more huff and puff but again failed to create enough chances. We got in to some decent positions but our final ball is not good enough.

I really hope he can turn it around but I don't know if we have the character to do so.

  6. I am actually really shocked they got rid of him, delighted, but shocked. This is certainly our best chance of survival although it should have been done far sooner.

I'm slightly worried who they will hire as a replacement but anything will be an improvement, just scoring will really lift the team. Please get Laudrup, hope that was why he turned down QPR but i think Sherwood is the most likely.

For all of you having a go at Lambert let's not forget who the real culprit of the decline is. Only 13 more games and your job is done. Well done Lerner.

Yes Lerner has been a bad owner, but with the squad Lambert has at his disposal we should be no where near relegation.

Lerner is no longer the problem.

He is if he doesn't sack Lambert.

  8. "I thought we played well in a lot of parts of the game. There's that little area where we're not confident enough. We lost poor goals, especially the first one. The ball should never travel that distance.

"I've told the players they've got 13 cup finals. That's how they've got to look at it. I know they're more than capable of doing it.

"There's seven or eight teams in it. We just have to get ourselves out out it."

I'm actually starting to dislike him as a person now.

  9. I care, it really hurts to see where we are as a club at the moment, with the two most important people in charge failing miserably at their jobs. Relegation would be a disaster for us but Lerner honestly deserves to lose out on his investment, he deserves to be hit where it will actually hurt him, his pocket.

Sacking Lambert will be our best, maybe only chance of survival but I don't think those who can make that decision have the balls, nor does Lambert to resign. The next few days will probably answer that.

And I don't care if Lambert is this likeable guy, he is not a likeable football manager as he is doing a incredibly bad job at it. We have to sack him now, I'd be furious if he walked in 3-4 games time when it would be too late, he almost deserves to still be at the club if we do get relegated.

  10. If we don't get rid of him now, I am convinced we will go down, I have absolutely no faith in Paul Lambert keeping us up. It really is the last opportunity to do it, we still have some winnable fixtures plus there is an F.A Cup match to give us a little more time.

We were abysmal again today, he has no clue on how to change that. Currently, we are comfortably playing like the worst team in the league.

    Please resign.
