Sure it's been mentioned before.mate... but they have a bizarrely good record against Man City.
It's even a running joke with Pep.
Anyway, I'm just being a bit fickle and worried.
I previously mentioned before that I just hope we can put out one final monumental effort and turn over Liverpool or at least get a point.
We had a fantastic record in the Prem against Brighton and lost. It happens. It really means little when the whistle blows. Try not to worry.

Spurs getting a point against City and battering Sheffield United ( Goal difference + ) is nowhere near as outlandish a scenario as people would want it to be.
We need to do something ourselves FFS.
That logic cuts both ways though: it’s not outlandish either to suggest that we could get at least a point against Liverpool.

Well at least spuds didn't get to fill their boots and shrink the GD gap today.
I think had Burnley tried a little harder they could have gotten something had they pushed more in the second half. Pathetic showing from them when staring down relegation.

We will lose to Pool and Spurs will get something v City.
It's virtually guaranteed.
No it isn’t. Nonsense.

Wild to me how some people are investing so much time into arguing that Spurs will get points against City whilst dismissing the possibility of that we won’t pick up any. Baffling.

Naive Burnley till the end. I’d be livid if that was us with that second half

I don't know how anyone could watch City on the one hand, almost certainly needing a win to win the title, and then watch Spurs barely getting past Burnley, and doubt that City are going to win. They just win, it's what they do, and Spurs are mere cannon fodder.
The City machine goes into overdrive as the season closes out. Pep won’t have them losing

So why isn't VAR looking at that?
Need spurs in the race for fourth

It does feel like borderline trolling.
I think there’s an element of it. Certain accounts only posting after Spurs went 2-1 up. Trying to rile people up tbh.

The doom mongers on here are relentless!!
It’s embarrassing. People already inventing scorelines to score cheap points.

We still have to beat Palace and Liverpool.
Both capable of putting 3 or 4 past us.
Purple patch Palace aren’t anything to be fearful of

Poor old City reliant on another most expensive defender in Europe to bail them out

“Three members of the national team have suffered assaults this month, prompting the cancellation of the season-opening charity match on Friday.
One of the victims, winger Faisal Halim, was left in a critical condition after an acid attack in a shopping mall last weekend.
Police have yet to establish a motive, or whether the incidents are linked.
Malaysia's football association has urged high-profile players to take precautions, including hiring bodyguards.”

Bailey a serious doubt
Not surprising given how he was deliberately targeted by certain Olympiakos players

Would be an alright pickup on a free. Played under Emery before and we could do with a right-footed forward.
Mbappe at the kit launch. Here we go.

We’ve beaten Arsenal and Man City. We can get at least a point against Liverpool.

Genuine question but what is Ange ball... Is it simply that they counter with everyone running forward?
High-line defence and lots of possession based attacking flow. But also a recipe for leaking goals and turnovers in possession.

Betting markets have no real influence. Let people waste their money.

It was just a late tackle it wasn’t an attempt to injure him
He’s not trying to play the ball at all

This was a deliberate attempt to injure him. Leon already knocked the ball away from him and he waited to target his knee.

Delibately waits to target Leon's knee. No intent to play the ball. Deserved booking. Perhaps more. This was malicious.
