  1. If the team simply gave up and accepted relegation, do you think they can instantly flick a switch and get promotion next year...

You need to instil some fighting spirit even if it ends up with relegation we can mould a group of players together who are prepare to fight for each other.  This also shows Remi who is worth keeping for next year.

  2. If we can reduce the difference to under 6 points we always stand a chance of getting out of this. We really need to keep it under 6 points and win our 6 pointers. There will be teams at the beach and also those who underestimate us being the bottom club.

  3. An injury to Defoe and I think that's curtains for them. WBA on the other hand rarely ship many goals and they have strikers who can score from the scraps. I guess if I had the choice I would of gone for Pullis until Lerner sold the club to bring some stability but at a cost of watching dross week in week out.

Remi would of been a great choice with a new owner coming in and giving him the cash to buy his own players. At this moment in time Remi is the only bright spark this club has and should do everything to keep him and supply with him with a decent amount of cash.

Faster than 99% of defenders which was more than enough, but with the added bonus that he could hold them off now. Even though I personally prefer the wiry, lightning fast Gabby I think it was a very rational decision for him to make and made sense at the time.

Very rational? Even though his manager and coaches told him it was a bad idea. I can not see how slowing down a limited player is a good idea in any sense. That time in the gym should of been spent on extra training on his positioning and technical skills.

I'm not sure it is, if we'd had 6 more points I'd agree but only £200million and Messi will save us now.

We probably have a decent Championship squad, players coming through which would benefit from that sort of experience and new players on big contracts who might be persuaded to stay for a year. Good players still come to Championship squads, Ighalo is a great example.

I would say Ighalo was an exception though, it was only because the guy who owns Watford (or his son) also owns Udinese that they got Ighalo and various other players. Clubs like Blackburn and Fulham had to pay over the top for good strikers so I don't see how were going to save any money by waiting for a striker. The only thing a player would avoid by coming later is not having a relegation on his cv which I can understand.
