Glad he’s gone. He was shit. Time to move on.

I’m happy, but I’ll wait until tomorrow still.

Im having a lie in tomorrow on my day off, when I wake up and see that’s he’s gone I’m going to have a cup of tea, 4 x Bourbon creams, a long soak in the bath then I’ll jump on the #50 to Kings Heath and get a few Nintendo DS or 3DS games from CeX. Then I’m gonna go home and put xhamster on, find some bird with a great set and have a massive celebratory fiddle with my todger.

We’ve all been at this point. We’ve all been tempted to pack it in at least once before. Anyone saying they haven’t is **** lying .

Smith - 11 games, 10 points - sacked

A Gerrard pre match presser:

Starmer was giving genuinely one of his best speeches at the TUC Congress meeting this morning only for it to be cut off by the BBC to go to HoC as they were talking about Cruella resigning. Very frustrating.

PMQ's was an embarrassment. Truss's line for every question was "but what has Kier Starmer done about this".
Nothing, dear. Because, you see, he's not in **** government, you simple minded fool.
We had a poster on here saying the same thing. “Well, Kier has doesn’t this to solve it, hasn’t done that to solve it’, like he is in a position of power. Bizarre. The fact the actual PM is going this route is laughable and just shows how unprepared and clueless she is.

Hmmm, most of the games I wanted to get appear to be unknown or unsupported. To play legitimately I wouldn’t recommend this for older games despite them being available in the steam store. My own fault for not double checking this.
Im hoping a few of them in time become viable like the first 5 Tomb Raider games, Soul Reaver/Legacy of Kain games, Thief Deadly Shadows.
At the moment, I’m a bit disappointed. Looks like have to go the emulator route.

Much like when videogames are announced too early, why bother putting this out there if they aren’t ready to show everyone. Much like waiting for Gerrard to get the sack everything seems to be taking an age with this club at the moment. ‘Glacial’ should be the new motto on the badge.

It’s here! Just got to go shopping first then can come back and set it up and play!

Car salesman. Just fluff and PR guff.
He’s here for a bit longer. Wake me up when he’s gone.

In 2022 I never thought a MJF/William Regal programme would have me so captivated. Regal is superb and his retort to MJF’s rant this week was absolutely expertly done. Bravo.

Anyone else think NFS Unbound is actually shaping up pretty well? Can’t say I’m not looking forward to seeing how it turns out which is surprising.

I do wonder if the expectation has been successfully quashed by Gerrard to the extent that surviving relegation is a triumph.
I mean, when the expectation is for Chelsea to wipe the floor with us it wouldn’t surprise me.
Indeed. He’s thrown the players under the bus enough times already without taking the blame for those who stare lovingly into his eyes to believe him as he’s lowered expectations and laid the groundwork for a shit season under his talentless management.

I agree with some of it, if not all fwiw
- Dean had some success, in promotion and a Cup final, but still had a below 40% win percentage over 135 games, even taking in a promotion, from the championship.
- Our wingers were not of sufficient quality for the Premier League.
- I agree with you, our team is not good enough in the middle to have wing backs, they need to defend first and attack second....we need at least one wide player, even if it is asymmetrical.
- The CDM has been a farce for too long.....The purchase of Kamara, was long, long overdue.....I too would go, 4-2-3-1 or even 4-4-2
- I too have never been comfortable, with McGinn, in deep positions or Dougie, both need to got further up for me.
- I am not convinced he has created the situation, we are in, but he hasn't changed it much either......we was poor before he arrived.
I am not convinced this present squad can be manipulated or permutated in to a winning machine.....withour surgery.
After a very pleasing early excursion in to the transfer market, I had high hopes for some quality additions to add to Carlos and Kamara, I must confess, I was left flat with the decision, to stall, and send up signing cover only, on the last days....I think that affected SG too....I am not soley blaming that, but just another brick in the wall.
I think right or wrong, SG has been searching for solutions, and when those solutions are not found, it starts to look clueless.....lets hope the new manager, can do better.
If I am being honest and with the benefit of hindsight, I think in the January window, he got it wrong, and it set the tone, even if initially, Countinho, showed signs of a good signing.....We was a lightweight team, lacking aggression and he made it worse.
I am beginning to share the view of him going.....even if its for the fanbase to get behind, the club and team.
Ps You might say we have 2 inside forwards up front and no quinntessential Centre Forward....he inherited that too.
All those mitigating factors conveniently mentioned for Gerrard but can’t come up with any for Smith. (Covid, injuries, bad luck, poor refereeing decisions, individual errors). You did the same for Bruce. It’s madness.
Smith was sacked for a terrible run of games. Gerrard has done even worse with less points and a lower league position. By the metrics Purslow judged Smith he should be judging Gerrard.

Where did Gerrard go wrong?

Can’t this be merged with the Gerrard thread? His name shouldn’t be sullying the On Topic board.
