A titbit of ITK for you. I know 100% fact that the board take a big interest in the sentiment surrounding Aston Villa on social platforms, I don't know if that extends to fan forums but I would be surprised if it doesn't. Reports are supplied on a weekly basis and they do not take fans' thoughts lightly.

We have no idea what is going on behind the scenes but I would put money on we are sounding potential replacements out. Do not take the silence as them not caring. I have been told we have met with Poch 4 times but the source is questionable and I doubt he would come here regardless.

People need to chill and get off the boards back, they have done a lot for this club and if they feel replacing the manager is in order they will do it.

 

While we disagree completely about Gerrard I’m with you on this. I’m still disappointed they haven’t moved to remove him as of yet but I don’t question at all their overall ownership or aims. It’s Purslow I have the most lack of trust in.

It’s relative though isn’t it, 13% back then is different to 13% percent now based on wages compared to cost of living. 

People can barely afford it at 5-6%. 

Saying people need to look at their budget misses the point that even shithole run down places you wouldn’t house your worst enemy in are selling for £150,000 plus at the moment.

We had to settle for a small, ok-ish terraced house in an ok/meh area and that was £185,000. 

Your trad basic 3 bed semi that your parents could always afford years ago is now £250,000 plus and out of reach for most working class normal people. 

I’d love to go back and re-do from when I was 17 to about 21 knowing what I know now.

I was borderline depressed, hugely introverted with no confidence and just kept to myself. A pretty sad and lonely chap on the inside back then.

Feels like a lost time of my life the early to mid 2000’s. Best time for videogames though, GameCube, Xbox and PS2!

Yes, I agree with all the bad stuff, but for the above, the 1st away win in 18 months, and showing up when BOTH of his parents had died, puts some credit in the bank with me.

Nothing to do with Villa. I’m talking about his side hustle of being a slum landlord.

He should be sacked. If the next appointment is just as bad then Purslow should go as well. To not sack Gerrard because of something that hasn’t happened lol, bloody hell.

Why they’ve never brought back Generation Game. I watched an old Brucey episode from the 90s on YouTube a few days ago and it was brilliant. Genuinely smiling and laughing throughout. Saturday evening TV is just awful now.

Exactly, no way is Ollie scoring 17 league goals in a season in Italy. 

The most overrated signing we’ve ever made. There was a reason we were the only club interested. 

While I don’t agree with the personal insults and ridicule of a man with possible mental health issues, I’ve never wanted an owner and a club to be put together so much as Bassini and sha.
