Really like this band. All 3 songs released from the upcoming album out at the end of the month have been fantastic. 

With regards to the lion facing the opposite way is it maybe a case of the symbolism of it looking ahead instead of backwards? 

(in western culture we go from left to right in terms of things like that).

Add me to the list of people who’ve never heard of the gas lamp/Villa connection until it was mentioned in here not too long ago. I don’t think it’s a strong enough or known enough connection to warrant being included in the badge.

We’re a below average side with or without Gerrard. Our main aim needs to be to avoid relegation. Arguing that we’ve spent lots of money and therefore shouldn’t be near the relegation zone is fanciful.

If I’ve got work in the morning I’ll be up until about midnight to 00:30 to get up at 06:30. 

If I’m off the next morning I’ll be up until about 01:30 and get up about 9:30-10:00 unless we’ve got something planned and I’ll go to bed about 12:30 and up by 08:30. 

I had no idea there was a 3D remake of Castle of Illusion on 360/PS3. Having some fun with it. Not as good the original one but it’s still decent. Mad how I never knew this existed. 

Also, Hydro Thunder Hurricane on 360, awesome.

It's their final album with Roadrunner Records and it very much feels like a contractual obligation album. This was album 7 of a 7-album deal and it just feels like they polished up some B-sides from the previous album cycle and released it. 

It's not a bad album by any stretch, but it's definitely not their most inspired work. 

Didn’t know they were leaving RR. Guess it’s an apt title name then.

Im halfway through my second listen and one thing I’ve just realised and glad about is the lack of indulgent interludes after every couple of tracks on WANYK. A couple are ok but it took up half the track listing before.

Also, Medicine for the Dead, possibly my favourite track on the album.

Slipknot - The End, So Far.

Weird. Not taken with it on first listen but it’s not bad either. Going to take a few listens before I understand it I think. Strangest opening track on any of their albums so far.

So turns out Truss has no idea what’s going on or was either lying, misleading or being vague/ with the truth when she said bills would be capped at £2500. There’s only one way 99% of people would take that news. Turns out it’s not true at all and many will be paying a lot more than that.

Bit of a sad tangent but reading Beauchamp’s name in your post sparked a few memories of ChampMan in the mid/late 90’s. 

Just Google’s him and found out he took his own life in February this year. Pretty sad.
