I looked at that Octopus Tracker that was mentioned on here a while back but they aren't accepting any new sign-ups.

They are offering Flexible Octopus which i don't understand - flexible means it can change so it's basically a tracker, but more expensive than Octopus Tracker? With an unknown rate? But also isn't there a price cap, so flexible should still be capped by the price cap?

Ovo is also offering similar confusion - i can fix again at the price cap rate, or go Flexible which is also showing the same price cap rate.  But surely Flexible is capped by the price cap and therefore can only go lower than the fixed rate but not higher?   

What am i not understanding?

I'm guessing if you fixed it would protect you against future price cap increase. Where flexible might go down or up depending on what price cap does

I didnt think my hearing was too bad I dont think I have the TV on particularly loud or anything, but the slightest bit of background noise and I cant hear a word that is being said.

Today I got my appointment through for fitting hearing aids, I'm 37  

Not entirely sure what role is so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. It did sound positive if he was coming purely from what others have said and how excited they where. 

But isnt he mainly a contacts guy I may be wrong but surely a player wouldnt join just because he is here (he doesnt have day to day involvement with the squad).

A player will join because of the vision of the club and the coaches (also the wages).

So while he would have got a foot in the door with  some of the players surely there are others who are also able to do that

Blues are currently being investigated for atleast 2 breaches of regulation. As I understand it anyway..

1. Mr Kings mystery involvement in the club. It sounds as though his shares are being dissolved as part of this announcement. So I assume the bigger (more serious) investigation into his ownership will probably be halted, and the serious points deductions they'd have faced, likely escaped.

2. Maxco putting ~£7m into the club in the summer when they hadn't passed any of the proper checks with the EFL. Maxco were sanctioned already, but Blues were just under investigation - maybe they'll still get a smaller punishment for this, but probably nothing serious.

It was the bigger one that had potential to really derail them and their future seasons. Be interesting to see if it is dropped with the takeover.

How I understand it is the Saudi pay a very very large set fee to the promoters / fighters. And they keep all money from the tickets sales TV PPV etc.

Whereas fight in UK everything is split on percentages etc
