You can’t fill the shed with gloves, it’s already full of cushions!

I know at least one company that's not going out of business any time soon

Er.... What? How many gloves do you have and how often do you wash them? Are they special gloves? So you have to wash them on an extra hot setting?

    How does this work?

They are very special gloves and many of them, enough to fill a shed

    And between 1994 and 2020 👍

    Pointless argument

I wouldnt call some instances of it being used, and causing a controversy because of it, being widely known but each to their own

Thanks for the history lesson but seeing as I was commenting on the posters contesting of it never being a well known and used phrase and nothing more i fail to see the relevance of your reply

He said he would argue it's a well known phrase as would I. You saying it was a well known phase because of her age is completely irrelevant. Being well known 30 / 40 years ago does not make it well known now.

Then you would be wrong (with regard to contesting the phrase was well known, especially to the age of the accused in this thread)

Maybe well known for the 1st 30 years of their life but certainly not well used for the last 30.

    Age is not an excuse

Nothing in that quotes post was untrue though. That was what the think tanks predicted, that was the Russian goal and how they went about doing it. And nobody did know the outcome for sure.

Again, if you’re trying to criticise me for reading up on what respected think tanks (and the Pentagon) thought about the matter then I’m not going to apologise; they’re the experts here even if they do get it wrong once in a while.

Have the last few years taught you nothing, we dont listen to experts any more. Facebook and Twitter decide

  7. Was cutting the grass earlier had a bit of an argument with an overly aggressive neighbour, who marched over to tell me how disrespectful I was being doing it today, after everything she did for us.

Couldnt help myself I've heard this stated quite a lot so I asked him to name 2 things she has done for us. He soon walked off.

Just finish this by saying I have no problem with any of it you want to spend the day mourning or playing with yourself its up to you but we dont live in north korea

I’d say 99% of people under 35 know who she is, and a lot of the general public. I think you’re in a very small minority if you don’t know who she is. She’s done a lot of well known songs and probably in my top 10 currents artists. You might have seen her at Glastonbury this year as one of the main acts, she was great.

I was about to say I'm under 35 and I've never heard of her.

Then I remembered I'm actually 37, how did that happen

After her initial announcement it was one way traffic from everyone highlighting what a terrible idea it was, and the opposition landed several big hits about the mess being of the conservatives own making.

Starmer rammed several damaging quotes from the chancellor back down his own throat to which they had no response.

no reponse and now they will never be picked up due to the queen

  10. Im sure there must be some good reason.

But I thought by now that all new build houses would have needed to have solar panels installed, surely that would help.

I'm sure they could even find a good donor who runs a solar panel supplier

  11. Losing games happens.

Continuing to play a system that doesnt suit your players and being unable to coach them to improve. Demanding special players create something special to dig him out of a hole.

It's all something I'd expect to see one of those over eager U10 dad coaches do with a tactics board after playing too much FM and watching All or nothing a few times

Ofgem also insisted on the period to recoup the cost of the failed suppliers being 12 months rather than easing the burden over a few years.

Comes to about £150 per household this year, I think

So in 12 months we should except them to bring the standing charge to come straight back down 🤔

  13. Twitter in general but more specifically today, pointless player after game tweets.

This morning the club retweeting them all saying pretty much same thing they have been told to put.

Today its Job done next week it will probably be tough one to take we go again

Everyone knows it fake its just completely pointless
