Spurs love this tactic. Wait until a club has agreed a fee and personal terms with a player then swoop in. Bentancur style like an eagle.

I'm sure levy does it to save on the air fare to get them into the country

Finished at work on the 23rd, back today and it seems that I have been locked out of all the work systems and so far, not been let back in. I should be happy as I cant do anything but I know my inbox will be filling up and a million messages will be waiting on teams. Ludicrous that after x days of no use an account is locked and password seemingly reset.

you dont work for twitter do you?

The NCP website isn’t currently playing ball, keeps telling me no car parks available. I’ll keep trying.

Theres a very cheap spot near Wembley Park, anyone used Just Park before?

Edit: Just noticed next to Wembley Park station there’s an Asda with a bookable car park. £25 for the 2 days and will be convenient if we need to buy anything or fill up the car.

I think I have a plan then! I’ll run it by the Mrs later, and wait for her to say she doesn’t want to go

I've used just park twice, once in liverpool once in leeds.

Both times it was spot on Its just like air b&b for parking so i guess it depends which spot you book to how good it is.

But both times I've used it in a central location and it's been a quarter of the price of one of the big car parks

It’s a bit kick a man while his down though isn’t it?  Kick a kid almost! Easy to forget Mbappe only 23.

Anyway who cares. Get your ass home Emi!

Mbappe is also an elite level athlete who gives as good as he gets it's all part of it.

  5. I dont see the problem with any of it to be honest.

Sport at the highest level make any small advantage you can get count.

And as for the celebrations, go for it it's all enjoying themselves they deserve to it's a laugh its entertainment

    It's genuinely life changing stuff.

And as with anything it hits the poor worse.

For me it hits spare cash and eats into savings.

    For others its destitution.

We really really need to wean ourselves off fossil fuel urgently and electricity needs to be decoupled from gas now

Then transport costs tumble with electric vehicle running costs and heat pumps pay for themselves quickly meaning cheaper heating and for the long term. Forever really.

I've seen you post this a few times what does it mean?

So US Intelligence think there is going to be a big slowdown in operations till the Spring as both sides re-fit and re-supply.

You would think however Ukraine will be having more and more troops being NATO trained over the winter whilst building new understanding of all their new equipment.

Hard to see how Russia comes out in Spring and goes again.

Hopefully Russia come out of it as bright as an Aston Villa team which has just had a 2 week mid season break with Steven Gerrard

This makes the Royal Mail strikes a bit different to others who are back to business when the strike ends.

I think they’ll lose public support quite quickly when it takes them 2 weeks to recover from each 2 day strike and people are missing their medication, or important documents.

Think public support is already quite low.

Problem they have as a delivery service for parcels etc they are already better faster more flexible options out there (although each of them not without their faults)

Bit of an embarrassing one here, about things in the bedroom with my wife when doing things that two consenting adults do during the mating season. I’ve always been a silent lover , ya know keep my emotions locked in, and left all that stuff to her. Been the same with past partners and one night stands so nothing new there. I’ve found as I’ve got older and on the last few months more so I’ve started being more vocal . Letting out moans and groans as the action heats up. Man to man, if we can say that nowadays, but is that the norm ? Do any of you moan or groan . I’m not on about moaning about your dinner , or groaning because you’ve stubbed your toe on corner of bed. Ya know what I mean . Finding it very embarrassing and struggle to look my wife in face after .

It's ok just wheel it back in the cupboard and make the the grinning face stare at the wall

Reactive comments are fine, we all have them. However people post the same comments over and over again, every single day, so much so, I do worry for their mental well being. It was dragging me down reading it, thats why I've had to duck out of the forum, for my own sanity! :) Ultimately I have to remind myself that its just a pointless game and not worth the stress.

Yeah I come to off topic to get all my Energy bills  / Tory government / world war stress needs now.

On the plus side I have found the solution  if I ever end up with too many cushions

It'd be nice if it was done in tiers, like income tax.

As a small business owner, I could end up in deep shit with that rise coming on top of all my other cost increases.

Being a Ltd company, we got practically no help during Covid either - only the offer of a long-term loan.

"The party of business"? **** rocket polishers.

It's your own fault for not being friends with a minister.

Could have done quite well out of it

So our energy use has been much higher the last few days despite the heating being barely or not even on at all.

I've a feeling the tarrif hadn't been uploaded so the readings in the week since the increase might have been innacurate.

Anyway E.on recently reduced my direct debit from £250 to £242 when the big change happened. I thought it was suspicious. I've just been on the website as I thought I ought to up it rather than potentially get into trouble. But their recommendation was £309 per month.  Why the **** did you recommend and in fact actively change my DDM to £242 then you flipping numpties?

Nothing to do with the £66 deduction for the next 6 months is it? 309 - 66 = 243

Why is boxing so dirty in all countries at all levels? I know all sports are attractive to dodgy money and cheating and gambling scams, but why has boxing never managed to clean it up at all? Something specific about the sport, or just a legacy that it can’t shake off?

I think it's to do with there not being one ruling organisation.

All different governing bodies different belt organisations different drug testing companies, alot of different organisations all competing against each other instead of working together
