I think he'll be kept for next season as he'll suit the CL matches. Summer 2025 he could be sold to balance the books with two years left.

He came on as a second half sub.

While lenget has been decent enough as cover for pau, we just aren't the same.

I would be looking at the potential to keep lenget for next season, dependent on how mings recovers. But certainly not on the wages barca are paying him.

He does well against passive teams. Athletic physical teams he is anonymous.

The way spurs play, if we have other options such as Tim next to Dougie and mcginn further forwards, I wouldn't be starting with teilemens.

Oldest went to the cup final last week, I was preying they would get hammered but just losing still made my day.

I try and stay humble as with my father-in-law whose spurs and 2 of my best mates man ure fans,  as we all know that being a villa fan comes with no guarantees.

If we managed to get in the top 4, then I will big it up large, until then I'm just celebrating our wins and their losses internally.

Great football 1st half, 1970s football 2nd half. The long ball was just giving possession straight back to Luton but we continued with it through the 2nd half.

Not sure why we changed our entire style of play but I hope we don't see that again if it doesn't work the first 3 or 4 times of trying.

2 of my step sons support Chelsea, so for me seeing them lose gives me a warm feeling inside as I've had years of piss taking from them.

A went a bit tits up. Fingers crossed we can play well and grab all 3 points, in fact I don't mind if we play badly and take all 3 points.

While Ramsey was far better than he has been his decision making was very poor. We need his energy but I'm not sure he did 1 thing correctly with the final ball.

Taking off Bailey ended pur attacking threat, very stupid to take him off bearing in mind he was getting the ball and doing something with it.

Tielemans another poor showing after midweek.

Not sure why these players have dropped off a cliff form wise but it's derailing our season.

On the only plus side, we out played them for 75 minutes and if the correct final ball was made, should have scored 3 or 4 more goals.

Another crap weekend another wasted 3 points and further away from the top 4.

Disappointing.

We've played well, had the majority of decent chances and picked the wrong option 9 out of 10 times.

Ramsey guilty at least 3 times when we were attacking and in a great position, picking the wrong option, he also had a very good chance and put it wide.

Cash, again calls for the ball, gets it and breaks down any forward momentum. Not sure if he's been told to not pass it forwards unless Bailey has come deep and man marked but its pretty pointless, wastes possession and allows them to re group when he can either progress it or pass inside to the ever open kamara but back it goes most of the time.

Mcginn was the only one to take a shot when it had opened up and it took a good save to stop it thundering in.

I would give it 10 to 15 minutes and if we haven't scored, look to diaby for Bailey as he's not been involved although he's not really been given the ball unless in tight spots away from danger.

Hopefully we can pop 3 quick goals in to settle us all down

Need to win this one for a few reasons.

1. To get back on track after dropping our standards over the last 6 or 7 games barring Sheffield utd.

2. To keep in touch with the top 4

3. To put distance between 5th and 6th

4. One of my mates will be an utter bell end if we lose as he's a huge man u fan.

Subs made far far too late. Teilemens should have been off at half time, game was far to quick for him.

We were poor, not helped by every ricochet falling in their favour, and every 50 50 being awarded to them.

Almost glad we went out due to being the least of the 3 competitions.

Disappointed but not devastated due to the lack of shape and aggression from our team for a lot of that game.

If we can take Carlos and teilemens off now please, and cash. 1st 2 not quick enough for this game and cash has been terrible

I doubt we will play as bad again this season.

Carlos cash lenget doug kamara and teilemens have been very poor.

Can't put a basic pass to a team mate in that half.

Teilemens hasn't got the energy for the pace of this match and Carlos needs taking off before he is sent off as the ref blows his whistle every time he challenges for the ball.

Maybe doug is still feeling ill because he had been quite anonymous this half.

Out of the 3 things we are in the running for this is the least I'm interested in but at least play half decent.

Felt we fell apart after half time.

Change in personnel made it very scrappy although I appreciate why it was done.

Great result, shame diabys effort didn't go in as he may have got confidence from it,  again sadly, he was rather poor bar 1 effort on goal.

Would have taken a 1 nil all day long so 5 is brilliant. 

Too many changes crushed our momentum 

1st half was very poor.

Half time everyone could see it needed changing, diaby and teilemens were terrible and needed replacing.

Only at 3 nil was the change made and we were instantly better.

Diaby needs to be the sub not the starter.

If only emery had bothered changing it at half time, we would have had a chance to get something from that.

Brilliant, now can we take invisible diaby off and ineffective tielmans ?

Diaby yet again useless, what on earth has happened to him ?

Tielemans has been poor and those 2 are like playing with 9 men tonight.

Get Bailey and zaniolo on for Tielemans and Bailey at half time.

Teilemens starting the second half exactly how he played in the 1st half. 

Teilemens having a shocker and diaby absent.

Some lazy play and there been lucky 3 or 4 times when the ball has broken outside their area, mcginn has been hovering and each time it's fallen no where near him.

Thank goodness for emi some of our own making but 4 or 5 saves in that 1st half.

I can see diaby not lasting much longer in this match. Zaniolo or Bailey will be on.

Expect he will play against Chelsea in the cup. Keeps the first teamers ready for the Newcastle game.

We played poorly today.

2 points lost.

Need to sort diaby out somehow because he's taking up baileys space or seems to be no where. 

Also need torres back ASAP whilst lenglet was OK, we are just too slow in moving the ball from defence and he telegrapgs every pass by having his entire body facing where he will eventually pass it.

Sometimes it's how it goes but we should have changed this far sooner than we did and whilst I can see that emery wanted the overload on the right to afford monero space, we couldn't take any advantage from when he did get the ball.

A disappointing game to watch and a disappointing result.

Been poor going forwards appart from a decent 5 minute or 10 minute spell. They are winning the 2nd balls more than us and are dominating in the air.

Diaby needs to either be on the right or middle with Bailey being on the left as diaby won't stay on the left. 

Mcginn has been pretty poor so far, I would be taking diaby off for teilemens if he is fit as he's really not done anything again.

We need to up it another couple gears and move it that bit quicker

I meant we officially reduce players wages by 50% on new contracts but all players are signed up to the new sponsor and the sponsor pays each player the equivalent of their contracted wage.
