Now West Ham are beating Newcastle I think the teams we're competing with in relegation are getting fewer and fewer.

Did you see the goal? Wont see a worse piece of defending all season........Almiron just ties it up!!!

So yesterday they did a scan and found a foreign body which they operated on to remove.  It turned out to be heavy gas.  Problem is he's not improved (still not eating,  barely drinking).  Only area which hasn't been xrayed is the top end of his throat just after the mouth.  The vet said they can't do this and he'll need to see a specialist for an endoscopy.  Specialist usually means £££ and the insurance isn't with the paper its written on.   We might be able to cover this cost but if that comes back clean how much further do you go, especially when finances are already tight ☹

Head up mate, i totally understand. Ive got a baby coming in 3 months, so cant afford any of mine's surgery. Especially as i stopped coaching, just as long as hes not in too much pain enjoy the time youve got with him.

  3. Didn’t know where to post this so thought it would go in here. But noticing how much we’ve been knocking the ball into the box and players saying they’ve been working hard on set pieces.

Why not play old fashioned 4-4-2 with your two biggest oaks up top (Baston and Davis) a defensive  mid and attacking mid in the middle (luiz and jack) a wide player one side with some pace (samatta) and a wide player on the left who can serve a ball in and out of open play (hourihane).

Listen I’m sure you could change a few moving parts but we’re playing so direct with two wingers who can’t dribble. Can’t cross and can’t shoot. Time to think outside the box a little.

We have subs in positions if guys get tired. (Nakamba and a clearly not ready for 90 mins Mcginn, the two wingers who really haven’t give us anything can bust a gut for 15-20 if we need to move Samatta up top. Plus the hustle and bustle of the young kid vas)

Just thinking out loud we need a spark. If that’s not it. Maybe the 3-5-2. But I say go back to basics. Put teams on the back foot from first whistle. Squeeze them high up the pitch and take a bloody chance!!!

oh ps get nyland out of the sticks ASAP.

Yep beating a decent Palace team with complete ease.

Surprised at people thinking we have a hope of getting anything at Anfield. We'll probably pack the team on 18 yard box and still concede 14.

Fixed for you mate, it will be as many as they want it to be. Complete schlacking of the highest order.

I'm looking at going for 2 weeks all inclusive in December, got the baby so something between 25 - 30° is perfect for me

Looking at riveria maya as the option flying from brum at sirenis Hotel or the royalton Hotel in cancun from frankfurt, the brum option is about £1500 cheaper

Anyone been to both areas (or even better the hotels?)

Riu Palace, Rivera Maya, Absolute class!!!

  6. Nyland-4: Shocking

    Konsa-6: Not a right back

    Hause-6: OK

    Mings-7: He was Tyrone

    Targett-6: OK

Luiz-7: Did the DM job solidly

Connor-7: Did the CM job solidly

SJM-6: Rusty, but ran himself into the ground

    AEG-5: Awful

Davis-8: MOM and but for a worldly save would have won us the game

Jack-7: Badly needs help, he got kicked pillar to post today

    Subs:

Trezeguet-6: did more than AEG did the whole game

Samatta-6: Had no support due to stamina issues

Elmohamady-5: legs are gone, poor delivery

Nakamba-6: Scares me in possession, scrappy.

    Notes:

    No style of play again

Looked in shape all things considering

    Too much hit and hope

Weve got some decent layers, but weve got some that struggle at this level

Hope this point keeps us up!

Not a honeymoon, but got back from Cancun, stayed at the riu cancun for 4 nights 5 days. Staff and facilities were amazing, food was good, rooms were average, but what got me was so much noise! When we stayed in the Dominican we had this little villa and was so much more peaceful. Would recommend for young couples or singles as its 5 mins walk from all the action. But prob wont be back.

Going back for 4 nights in late july for a stag do......

That can get in the queue with all those other red, white and blue stripes. It’s fascinating that places can have absolutely any design they fancy and so many go for those basic red, white, blue variants.

    Maybe im just home sick....😢

Ah Thanks, that would make sense, as there used to be a mahoosive @Dom_Wren type Ford pick up parked across the road from that house.

Thing is, I might have to not do the racism, as maybe Texans are better at it than I would be? I might stick to not being a word removed for the time being (yeah, yeah...).

First On Race Day is what ford stands for, whoop yeah bo, MERICA!!....... (or fix or repair daily, if you're a chevvy guy😒)

Best states flag is Arizona, btw.

Got a giant Arizona flag knocking around somewhere.

I see your Arizona and raise you Hawaii

I actually like SC's as well.

Thanks Dom. We actually departed NYC March 14th - we are very lucky that my wife's family has a summer condo in Santa Fe New Mexico. We've been holed up here ever since. (Her parents hav cancelled their summer trip.) We're musicians so all of our work has been cancelled including the Santa Fe Opera which we were both meant to be playing this summer. Today we found out that the Metropolitan Opera won't open until December 31st which means all of the other other institutions will be similar. Carnegie Hall, New York Phil & Broadway will all be shut until the New Year at the earliest.

@maqroll Our apartment is on 99th and West End (1/2 a block from Broadway) and I hadn't been worried until today. I was up with my little lad at 6am here and turned on the news. I couldn't believe, 8am broad daylight on 14th street in Manhattan people openly looting stores. I just wonder how mad it. could get - that display tonight by Trump was truly terrifying. They seem to want a war - divide and conquer.

Glad to hear you're safe man!

  14. Type Dave Lyle Blvd into Twitter. this is my city. Police shut down a whole mall and more. Pics of patrol cars backed up to entrances after a tip the rioters and looters were coming down from Charlotte to smash it.

Thankfully this is the other side of town from me, but were hearing they want to get into neighborhoods. Bad move for them if they make that choice.

  15. Regarding youth, years ago at a coaching convention i met Paul Power (u 18 man city head coach) and Jim Cassel (Man city academy director). This was when Mancini was managing them.

They were very gracious down to earth lads and entertained me and a pal over a cuppa.

The thing that shocked me the most, is that they said, our goal is not to produce pros for the man city first team, but pros for other teams. He cited that in his whole tenure, Mancini had been to watch one u-18 game. They were just trying to give lads the opportunity of a making a living from playing the game they love!

Really surprised me that, but that modern football i guess.....pressure at some clubs mean the gaffer cant take the risk.
