A Hamas rocket misfiring and landing on a hospital seems much more likely to me than a target with no military value being hit by the IAF, yes. Particularly given the messaging on their socials - added to the tweet above yours.

Some people will want to believe Hamas regardless, because it’s the paradigm they are comfortable with (Israel bad, Palestinian victims).

I didn’t even bother trying to rebut the false story on here that Israel bombed an evacuation convoy (it was a VBIED employed by Hamas or PIJ to prevent Palestinian civilians moving themselves to safety) because it’s pointless.  The image analysis after the fact shows the explosion came from within the vehicle and no air dropped munition was present. But that wouldn’t matter to folks who wanted it to be true.

What I find interesting is that the people who carried out the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust are seen as more credible sources of information by some third parties than the Israeli state.

Wow. You're still here. Can you teach us about genocide?

I mean it's definitely possible I suppose. As I said they probably should've dealt with this quietly.

The "Palestine will be free" part of it isn't the problem.

Yes it is. Someone decided to make a freedom statement antisemitic. I can tell you 100% it's not.

I'm not so sure to be honest. He's spoken about Palestine in the past so hard to imagine he'd be unaware of the connotations behind the phrase.

I'd wager he wasn't aware of the connotations of the slogan at the end there.

What's the problem? How is Palestine will be free have any negative connotations? Hahahah this is complete joke. In a few months, we're going to jail for saying Palestine. Europe is not free.

  4. El Ghazi is a hero. Exposing european white supremacy. I can't believe how many on this continent are silent when England, France, Germany and some more countries have banned free speech. This is a football forum, so this post is probably getting deleted, but I really do hope he makes a ton of cash wherever he goes next.

I stand by it. Hamas doesn’t even recognise Israel’s right to exist and Islamic Jihad has its aim as the destruction of Israel. This isn’t compatible with peace or a 2 state solution or (eventually) living side by side.

Not recognizing an occupational power does not equal seeing jewish people as inferior. Does israel recognize Palestine's right to exist? No. Does israel treat Palestinians as subhumans? Yes. Case closed.

I have no idea why you’ve quoted my post as your thoughts bear no relation to anything I’ve written.

It was only the part I had in bold that I felt was very much out of order: Hamas and Islamic jihad also see Israel and Jewish people as inferior and a threat to their culture.

I think you need to go and read about Islamic Jihad and Hamas. They’re essentially ISIS hidden in a country that really doesn’t need them. They took over power illegally from PLO to enforce extreme racial and religious laws themselves. Blandly isn’t making anything up.

Don't come telling lies. Hamas fights oppression. Hamas won the last election. Please, don't bother.

It is, you’re right. Hamas and Islamic jihad also see Israel and Jewish people as inferior and a threat to their culture, while also placing little value on the lives of the Palestinian people. They (as Bicks said) knew exactly what their actions would lead to.  Israeli civilians might also think “we can resist, or we can accept being murdered by terrorists”. Of course they’ve got all the “benefits” of a relatively rich and extremely well armed state behind them, but the emotions are the same at a human level - they kill us and we kill them in reply. Until the killing stops, it will always escalate and de-escalate again. And that is the aim of Hamas and the aim of Israeli governments, particularly the current very right wing one.

Excuse me? Maybe tone down the guessing game here. The far right, the left, the right, the center, the orthodox, the whatever place the zionists are on the scale, look at all the Palestinians as sub-humans who don't deserve free will. The zionists are the problem, not the Jewish ethnicity.  It's not up to anybody here to decide in what way a legal rebellion against inhumane oppression, collective punishment and torture should be carried out. No civilians should be attacked, I agree completely with that. Yet here we are. Another thousands of Palestinians children will be killed, another thousands of innocent Palestinians will be killed on top of that. And all some here do is shrug "Gazans should accept their fate as subhumans to the zionists". If you don't understand that oppression is not the right way to handle 2 million people, then you will never understand why desperate people will do everything they can to get out of this mess. Whatever the cost is.

At the time of post MON cost cutting our mantra was we would go down that route. We got rid of experienced players and persisted with Clark, Lowton, Bennett, Weimann and Westwood.

What did we get? Some of the most miserable seasons I can remember.

2 of those were from the academy, and today's academy has so much more talent. Grealish, Carney, Tim, Archer, Bidace, Ramsey's... These are really good players.

That's all well and good mate but the current core of Aston Villa is

Kamara, Luiz, McGinn, Diaby and Watkins with Youri and Zaniola chomping at the bit.

Who do you drop from there to start blooding young players with potential but unproven?

I love Coutinho, but would think Archer should have come in before. And why buy Acuna and use him as a winger on the left when you have Bidace?
I remember when Man U wasn't supposed to win anything with kids... those kids were Beckham, Neville's, Butt, Scholes, Giggs...

  11. Archer, Ramsey's, Philogene-Bidace, Iroegbunam should be the future core of Aston Villa. Carney was supposed to be one of them too..

It's a shame to sell them off. What's better then players from your own academy? I can't see so many players this good coming through at the same time again in the future.

Its actually quite hilarious where you try throw the racism card out when its nothing to do with them being arabs just for their actions.

so you supporting their stance on being gay lesbian etc? And you are aware what they have been doing to Yemen?

as for uk if you actually read back historically i was opposed to the war in iraq just my take on that

don't try paint the uk and us like them at least you can  be openly be gay and accepted here unlike these countries where they refuse to accept you for what you are.  But whatever helps you sleep at night

How do you think the rest of the world's view is on uk and usa?😆 And it is pretty racist to spew hate against everyday Arabs playing football and calling them murderers. You wouldn't do that to the football team from usa, would you? Double standards for sure.

And what actions did the players in the Saudi Arabian team do for you to call them murderers?

Ah ok so its not ok to cheer newcastle but its ok to cheer the saudi arabia national football team.

    Gotcha

Nice. Where is your stance against usa and england? How many did they murder in Iraq in that unlawful war and occupation? It is Harry Kane's responsibility for sure. It's so fun being a racist when it comes to Arabs. Bruh, clean up your mess in your own countries first.

  14. What are people expecting? Unearthing the next CR7? New Messi? The buys are good, they were bought to follow Gerrard's style of play. It's like people here forgets that every team in all the big leagues has their own Lange, their own statistical team, their own moneyball model. Without Lange, Aston Villa would be 10 years behind instead of being on an even field with the rest of the Premier League.
