Yes and I acknowledged that. I still don’t get your point. Smith IS an average mid table manager as proven by his career record. No amount of time will turn him into a decent manager he is a dud and the more time we give him, the more people will see that. At least Bruce had a decent record at this level.

I think many thought we did in Dean Smith. Turns out he was a very small cog in a huge set up and is actually a bit shit.

He has a squad that is more than capable of being in the top 6 of the Championship. I think a lot of people forget how shit this league is. Yes the squad has its problems but it is still better than 90% of the squads in this league. We have seen what this team is capable of, just a shame Smith can’t get those performances with any consistency.

They don’t need to be world class. This is the Championship in case you hadn’t noticed. This squad of players is more than good enough to get into the top 6.

I would believe that if I saw signs of improvement over the last half dozen games. The fact is, we haven’t and I don’t have any faith Smith can turn this around. Even with his own players.
