Even if we don't finish 4th, it's been a top season. 2 trips to Wembley and fighting down to the last couple of games when it looked dead and buried a couple of months ago. UTV 8)

General - 3 things for me to mention. 1) What an excellent thread this is and it simply underlines the comitment that Randy and yourself has shown to the club and how much you really are here for the right reasons. Keep up the good work, and hopefully your efforts will be rewarded on the pitch eventually. 2) An superb gesture from the club to reward the loyal fans that showed up for the RV game with tickets for the C*****F game. What an amazing thing to do, how many other clubs would offer a similar deal?! Not many I'd bet. 3) Please tell MON and the boys (if possible) to give the scum (C*****F) a right thrashing in the Carling Cup. By sharing my loyalties between Newport County (a team which I doubt you've every heared of; we're a Team From South Wales, in the Blue Square South - around 5 leagues below the Villa!) and Aston Villa. C*****F are our rivals (like blues are to Villa) and for us to hammer them would give me no greater satisfaction, as being honest the days of my team (Newport County) having a chance to do it are long gone. :cry: Keep up the good work General. Out of those 4 it has to be Distin or Wheater. Distin just edged it for me, but I wouldn't grumble with Wheater

Fantastic. Yes its only a friendly cup but a cups a cup, you try taking that away from us. Its been what seems like a life time since we've last experienced a cup win (1996 isn't it?!) Long over due. Enjoy it people. Up the Villa!

I'd expect 2 Right back & Right Mid I think we've got enough strikers for now, and dont really see any other areas that need all that much impriving (maybe Left back - not much of a fan of bouma to be honest). Quite suprised we haven't signed anyone yet though perhaps its just signals out MON's intentions to snap up a bargain close to the end of the transfer window.
