As soon as the full time whistle went the scum invaded the pitch and headed straight for the end we were gathered at. They started throwing bottles, and were kept behind a row of riot police. Then a flare was thrown backwards and forwards between both sets of fans. I thought it was thrown from the villa end first. Villa fans were tearing up seats and wrecking some advertising boards. They continued to trash the toilets upon exiting the sty. Both sets of supporters participated, but the sty dwellers started it all. One even gobbed on a 10 year old lad near us. As always, totally classless, even in their 'biggest game of the season'.
