I hope Emi back but I can’t see us risking him. Same with Youri.
We are going to struggle if Brighton show up like they can. They will be fresh and their fans will expect to see something.
We have to start with our strongest back line to help Olsen.
Olsen
Konsa Carlos Pau Digne
Diaby Luiz Diaby
Bailey Olly Rodgers
Might even be a game to put Tim in the middle alongside Luiz and McGinn.
I’m not sure that playing Diaby’s brother will help our cause?

I know that Wet Spam won this but their league form really suffered and they were lucky not to get relegated..

Can anyone enlighten me on why Bailey's goal was disallowed?

In terms of Olympiacos, where would they rate amongst these two teams?
Hibs 5- 0 away win
AZ Alkmaar 4-1 away win

Any danger of both Martinez and Tielemans being fit for the 2nd game? Even if they're 80%, I'd still wrap them up in bandages and get them on there....

agree re Diaby, i made votes for manager performance and referee performance and left the player motm blank as i'm struggling to get a m otm player but it's a required field so went for Cash.
far too many poor performances out there tonight.
Diaby goal yes but what else?
McGuinn very poor
Luiz, a right bollocking on the touchline from Unia, but summed up by giving a penalty away and then missing one. Poor all round.
Konsa was awful at the back and on that sort of showing has no chance of going to the Euros.
I get we are at the bare bones, but this is a semi final and I think Unia got it wrong tonight, too late with the subs. I'm also noth convinced that playing Diably and Bailey together works for us. We lacked balance.
Very disappointed to say the least.
Sunday will be very interesting. Given that if we beat Brighton and Spurs lose to Liverpoll the 4th is all but ours. It would mean we could go gung ho in Athens and they are as good at the back as we are.
Iff these two events happen then we are 10 points ahead of spuds and they have 3 games left... 100% confirmed in 4th....

I see that the Greeks have the weekend off... just like the French did... will this result influence Emery's starting line up for the Brighton game? Will he be prioritising turnining over this two goal defecit?

Im usually the biggest pessimist out there but as long as there's still a chance, I'm going to believe....

There must be some way that Manchester United can still make the Champion's league? If not, how will the media cope?

I want Champion’s league purely for selfish reasons… if we play on Thursday nights the premier league games get moved to Sundays so Monday am for me here… I want to watch premier league games Sun am as I don’t have work that day…

Spurs lose to Chelsea, Villa beat Brighton, Spurs lose to Liverpool… top 4 sorted by Monday…. Anyone else think this will happen?

Saw this online ..... Tottenham have won just once in the league at Stamford Bridge in the last 34 years.... so they're probably due...

I understand that, but as we saw when gresford played for us, we should not keep depending on one player...

Am I right in thinking IF Spuds lose against Chelsea and Liverpool AND we beat Brighton, it's all over rover?

Raya tried to throw it away today...... chump

For those that like rolling averages.... our lowest 3 point haul was three points, when we lost to Newcastle, Beat Shef Utd, then lost to Man U. If we do that again or better we'll be on 70 points plus. That could be too much of a gap for Spurs to bridge depending on their result tonight...

I think that Spurs have only 1 away game this year? They still have 3 of their 5 games away from home: Chelsea, Liverpool and Shefiield Utd...

Our last three games are against teams that having left to play. We need 3 cup finals... No reason why we can't take at least 5 points from them....

Football cliche 101: first goal is crucial in the second leg… if we get it, we are in the ascendancy and we can go on to win…. I’m actually more confident of us going there and having to win , than going there to defend a 1-goal lead… it’s a pity that the penalty was missed. Ideally we need Martinez, Pau, and Yuri back in the team too… maybe even Carlos too.
