Sent a brief e-mail to the club last night (fancomplaints@avfc.co.uk) just mentioning that although the upgrade to the ticketing site has improvements it is now more difficult to see how many seats are available without having to click into each block.

To my amazement I have received 2 e-mails from the club (one acknowledging the query and one asking me to call them). I also had received 2 missed calls from Villa this morning which I couldn't answer (as at work) and then Lee Preece called again (supporter liason manager) at lunch time which I answered.

I spoke to him for 5 minutes or so and he said the club are going to try and get the seat issue changed and was something they have raised.

Whether anything is actually done I guess we'll see but have to say I was impressed the way they reached out in relation to the query today.

So definitely worth trying the above e-mail address if you have a complaint!

I noticed that on the ticket site and thought they were being secretive about numbers again!

A great picture of social history and the old Trinity.

back in the day when you had to queue for hours and hours for tickets.

    Season ticket holders, programme stubs.

Some of our fans will have no idea about this 🥴🫢😀

edit: i remember queuing many a time for long hours.

My heart just broke again.  That stand.  😭

  3. I can’t help feeling the real reason is no-one will commit to build the new stand at a realistic price in the current economic climate, which has been particularly hard on the construction sector.  Buckingham Group going under removes a potential candidate but the fact that two major stadium developments were a factor in going under must scare the wits out of any other candidates.

From what i can gather, fans have to be consulted about a badge change.

As far as I can see, Heck has seen this as showing the FAB his badge and when they said the lion should be more rampant, a small change was made just to the lion but still mainly sticking with his own design.

At the next FAB meeting, can someone show Teale's Tache's badge to Heck  and say "what about this you cock-sucker?"

Or explain to Heck why the detailing has to be claret. 😊

have people seen the Birmingham mail article about this today?

it says we've now filed another trademark.

it sounds like a complete and utter shambles.

whenever I post a link, i get a warning so I won't link to it.

The article reports news that is now 21 days old.

Doesn't the £100m purchase price just go to the shareholders who sold their shares ie: NSWE?

Depends if the company creates the shares for the new shareholders to buy or the existing shareholders sell some of theirs.

That is about the 2nd or 3rd time this season the official site has taken our previous opponent's badge as ours into the next fixture.

There is a lack of attention to detail right the way through the part of the club that deals with things like the website and the programme.  One of many reasons I stopped getting the programme this season even though my collection of back issues extend back over 36 years.

I hate this narrative, I don't remember prices going down when we got relegated.

Well they did slightly in that the price was the same and there were 23 home games instead of 19.  Seriously though, I take your point entirely.

  9. I was just reading about Buckingham Group’s problems.  I do wonder if the real reason for the cancellation is that we simply cannot find a contractor willing to build it at a sensible price, given how much financial protection a contractor would want in the current economic climate.

Not really comparable though is it

Unless the letter is false, in which case throw the book at them.

But if it's true then they're whistle blowing. You can't really say "oh that's also misconduct" in that context

There will be (should be) a whistleblowing policy though and that should be followed.

That is not to say the letter isn’t disturbing on its own terms.
