Surely the most important thing we can do four our chances of Champions League football is to finish fourth?
Very true!

Might draw Celta Vigo, Helsingborgs or Varteks
Don't I was at those games. Still not got over Rapid Vienna either.
Trabzonspor stands out too.

When we were mainly shit. We beat them twice in the last 3 seasons
I dread some fearful reactions when we play the top teams in Europe
Less historical scaring here though!

Some of us have been showing the maths that showed Utd had almost no chance of finishing above us for weeks now.
They haven't realistically been in the race for a while now
I do admire all of your confidence and faith .
Tbf I am confident about our team and especially Emery, theres just a part of me that wants it to be certain before I can openly talk about it. Don't want it to go wrong I guess is the overriding feeling for most!

Superb player. I worry he will be moved permanently to RB when Ty is back from injury.
I would rather him more central.
Less of a worry when you have Ty and Pau in the middle although it's unbalanced for playing out.
Obviously you'd want the option of a more attacking rb too

Lol love the way they are 100% sure of Liverpool and city but there is a 0.01% chance of arsenal cocking it up!
Haha I'm guessing it's fixture related, funny of not!

They are dropping alarmingly now! They need a win.
Anybody see how he played?

Well done Seb!

In his last post match interview Pep basically hung Grealish out to dry and put him on the transfer list. Now I wouldn't want to pay anywhere near what they paid for him, but if a fee could be agreed, would people want him back? Personally, if the money is right, I think he would fit in to that LM role perfectly in our system.
Nobody has replied yet which I'm surprised about. His talent clearly has a place in our team but I just don't see how the financials make sense especially wages wise.
All of that aside he is injured far too often.

I had the same thought. I’m hoping they just cancelled each other out.
Partly this, partly first game back after internationals with less than a weeks prep. How many teams played well this weekend?

some great strong hold up play in the 2nd half. Bullied the wolves defence.
Really was, winning fouls to relieve pressure too

Spot on.....The boy has Football IQ....He is visionary.
A bit lightweight, granted, but played in his right position, with the right players around him to do the robust work, he has class.
It was some coup, to get him on a free.
He was MOTM against England, and it was noticeable how he used the space, he had, intelligently....huge boost of confidence from that game, yeah.
I think he was a shrewd acquisition.
Definitely a boost after the England game, yesterday was one of his best for us.

Am I right in saying that Wolves are the first top 10 team we've beaten this year?

It probably was never going to be an easy season for him: he's not a very physical player adapting to a new team, a new league and a new role.
But he's wracked up what matters most in goals and assists in spite of these challenges, he has talent in spades, and his left foot is
A settled Diaby and Bailey running at defences next season...
He finds clever pockets of space too, not just his running into space

Really is starting to become a good footballing right back let alone Cb. Developed so much over the last two years that we don't really lack much going forwards when he plays over Cash. Gives the ball away less too.

He's rapid!!
Faster than I thought he was, few more years refining his game and he'll be a baller

Yeah he does. Rogers is just a bit more skilful.
Fingers crossed he can develop the same was Ramsey has over the next two years

An absolute monster out there. The way he ate up the turf to make that slide tackle...unreal.
He is quick across the ground!

That is the ingredient, we need muster, in the next 8 games.
We know we have the talent, to challenge any team.....if we can be " a real handful" we will get a champions league place.
Agreed, looking forward to a fired up SJM coming back too. Another key for us is playing yesterday's back 4 (potentially Digne) for most of the games.

I thought he was a real handful for Wolves in the 2nd half and he forced mistakes that led to good chances. There is a very good player in there when you consider he's 20.

Watching MOTD again, that sliding!
Two really well timed ones in the space of a couple of minutes

He does have some very similar attributes to Ramsey in terms of carrying the ball forwards.

So April we have 7 games in total. Man United have 6. Spurs only have 4. How Emery rotates the squad in games will be key. The form of Duran, Zaniolo, Cash and Rogers will be massive in deciding how we do in games.
Too many games in a month, I agree with Pep on this one although I have less sympathy for the man that has the best squad in club football.
