i dont like them for many reasons, mainly because of whelan and the way Lerner / faulkner didnt even bother lubing us up when whelan and mighty wigan decided to **** us over as a pr stunt, which whelan has since shown he absolutely **** loves, any excuse to get his trumpet out and the man simply cant help himself

 

add to that i really dont see what they offer, this great football stuff is bollocks, its a shit away game in a shit half empty no atmosphere stadium, them escpaing from relegation eevry season right at the death isnt great, its boring, they've probably had around 4 decent players in the last 6 years, they have absolutely no appeal as a neutral fan IMO no potential england players to keep an eye on, hardly any youth players to ever keep an eye on etc etc pretty much everything about them is pointless

It's all well and good people saying that this game would have taken it out of Wigan blah blah... Have you even considered what this win could actually put back into them? Tell me, who the **** thought Wigan would win today? I sure as hell didn't!!

They are in Europe next season (is that Europa league I take it?), they have won the second most prestigious trophy in English football... And they want to stay in this league....

The only thing we have going for us is that technically it is still in our hands, but there is a reason why we have only won 10 games this season....

What's also annoyed me is that we have only taken 2 points off the top 6 teams this season... That's woeful.

I thought they had more chance today than they do at Arsenal. I think today will have taken a lot out of them!

I dislike the 'they play great football' card that gets thrown about. They don't. That's why they are in danger of being relegated every season.

I'm pleased for Wigan that they won the cup. Sick of the sight of the big money clubs winning everything. Its something for their fans to cherish.

Yes I agree its a success, because it was a big risk to go with such a young squad and we can only get better next season.

I actually think we will get something out of the game. The games have mounted up for Chelsea. They had a tough game Wednesday and to play us less than 3 days later, there will be a reaction. I know they will rest players but I would fancy our chances against terry if he plays. Hope lowton is fit for us.
