Two wins from last 4 games and we'll end 4th.
Chelsea next will be tough as they're chasing European football as 6th will likely be Europa League and 7th is Conference, but they are away to Arsenal mid week while we can have a rest and Luiz is back.
So.
The season isn't over?

He shouldn't have taken the Norwich job really. Leicester was a free hit.
It's interesting seeing him in MLS, he's probably the most qualified manager in that league but he's also on a hiding to nothing from a success perspective, as Charlotte are still a new team that is trying to establish itself and has spent it's first 2 seasons with crap management and a flawed squad. They don't currently, for instance, have their full Designated Player allocation filled and their 'star' striker is currently being outshone by a youth player. Smith seems to have improved the team and the fan base likes him but he's not going to win anything and by all accounts the owner sacks people for fun.
His job selection has been rotten post-Villa.
He'll always be one of my heroes. Made us 5x better immediately, 10 games in a row, etc etc. No coincidence Emery thanked him during that interview. He knows the fine work he did here.
0% chance Konsa or Watkins are here without Deano. Others as well but definitely those two. You can probably throw Martinez in as well. Deano brought Cutler in who was the main man saying this is our guy.

Ah those classic dickheads and horrible people

John McGinn and Matty Cash.
Truly, the worst of society.

I'm actually surprised he's at Villa if it's clearly nepotism. Fair to say it definitely definitely looks Iike it.
Quite un-Unai.
Whatever. Build him a smaller statue right next to the main man's one.

We’ve had “better” players who cost us a lot more who did far less and didn’t try anywhere near as hard…
Hey.
Hey @DJ_Villain
Grealish was better than Trezeguet.

Brentford have done another sensible thing and decided they aren't missing out on £40m+ for Toney and dropped him entirely so he can't get injured
So Watkins is there unless he gets injured. And he bloody deserves it.
Southgate will hate picking him as well.

He's one of the players on the front of the Panini England 2024 "tournament edition" album.
Really? That's mad. (Purely because he might not go)
Like when he was one of the faces of M&S England alongside Kane.

Agreed. Would've been appropriate post pre Brentford game as well
Yes but not from 2-0 up.

Hows he doing this season?
Mainstay in a not great team that's comfortably stayed up their first year up.
Ability to get round someone in no at all space is really good. As is playing so many games at such a young age.
I don't think we need him particularly. Probably too similar to Buendia. We wouldn't lose money on him though.

Wonder if we'd go back in for Alberto Moleiro.

It's pretty irresponsible getting booked for time wasting twice in a two leg contest. When the tie is still 100 minutes away from being complete.
I mean that's just pointless, there's no gain for anyone. We're now just missing one of our best players.
He didn't time waste.
He didn't do anything to the crowd that the ref booked him for.
The ref still booked him twice.

If the first yellow for time wasting happened while the ball was in open play, we should be appealing tha one - it's factually, demonstrably an incorrect application of the rules.
It didn't but it happened because of moments before when Emi was stood on the ball in open play and the ref was swayed by the crowd.
The ref certainly made motion it was for multiple time wasting incidents. Which it wasn't. It was barely one.

Missed this. Absolutely hilarious.
In 20 years it'll be City v NYCFC in the champions league final.

Not quite though. Many started saying ‘’Bailey is shit’’ rather than just playing shit.
Yeah that is true actually. Using two years of shit performances as evidence mind.

Bad Bailey was never that bad in my opinion. Just became a scapegoat for some reason.
Mmm, we'll have to disagree yeah. You see he was playing shit. So people said "Bailey is playing shit".

I’m not doubting the guys ability for a second. Just would like to see him try to beat a man and get a cross or shot off more often. Seems reluctant to try.
Bailey even when he was apparently shit kept trying.
Bad Bailey was much worse than Bad Moussa. So far.

He's a proper "angry celebrator". I love it. I know because I'm one too.
There's a video somewhere of me just after the playoff final properly losing it in the stands. That poor family.

That they are crap, but then again I wouldn't have purchased him.
Personally I think he is a striker, he is being used by us as a ball carrier and god knows what roles he played for his last club over the last year.A Rogers esq shimmy round the question.
If he wins the ballon d'Or next season will you say he wasn't a sensible buy because fbref has red lines inside of green lines?

5 goal 7 assists in 21 starts and 12 subs. It's absolutely not terrible and lightyears ahead of what Bailey did for years.
100%.
He's nowhere near 'Bad Bailey' levels.
I'm sure he'll be ok. League has shook him up a bit I think. When he gets some confidence back into his game, he should fly.

He has recently scored and assisted in a bunch of games, have we forgotten that already?!
What's that got to do with him being shit tonight?
