Never tire of seeing this

Will always hold a special place in my heart for his goal against the Albion in the play off semi final. Probably the start of where we are today and I’m forever grateful for that.
For 1.5m, he was very decent value for us.

Brilliant news and well deserved after a fantastic season for him. Protecting a major asset, so all good from the club.

If we want to go all out in the Summer and really push on, we could be looking at something like this:
---------------------------------New--------------------------------
----------------Buendia--------------Coutinho--------------
------------------------------Ramsey-----------------------------
---------------------New-----------------New--------------------
Digne--------------Mings--------New----------------Cash
------------------------------Martinez-----------------------------Or, if we're looking for a formation change..
---------------------------------New--------------------------------
----Buendia------------Coutinho-----------------New----
---------------------New-----------------New--------------------
Digne--------------Mings--------New----------------Cash
------------------------------Martinez-----------------------------
Either way, we need two new defensive midfielders as an absolute priority to play the way we want to play under Gerrard, otherwise we'll get ripped apart time and time again - especially on the break. The Spurs game is the best example of that happening this season.
Players in, in priority order:
DM
DM
CB
ST
AML/AMRI think we'll see a net spend of 100-120m this Summer. A lot of players will leave.
Think that’s a fair assessment, with 5 new players coming in. No doubt 5 or 6 leaving and several going out on loan again. -
Richarlison is only 24 and played a lot of football at a top level already. He’s a good player, it’s just his attitude stinks a bit.
Calvert-Lewin has only just turned 25 but has had season of injuries. I also think he’s a decent player, although I’m aware many on here don’t rate him.
However, I wouldn’t so no to either player.
-
We should start him against Norwich. Bottom team in the league, so let’s see how he responds I reckon.

Good result that against United
Absolutely, to get a point and not concede is a very good result. Well done ladies -
After his cameo yesterday, it would be great to see Tim start this one.

Think we’ll do well to hit 45 points now but not sure where we’ll finish with that?

Is he getting more rotund?
Nah, looks fit as a fiddle to me: -
Just back from holiday in Devon, where I watched the game.
Major positive is we’ve stopped the run of defeats and it could prove to be a really important point. Clean sheet is good also. In truth though, Leicester offered little to the game.
I don’t think our performance was anything other than ok and our best performances were probably from the subs bench in the second half.
Konsa has lost any confidence that he had with the ball and is now a walking nightmare.
McGinn now offers absolutely nothing. He’s very sluggish and isn’t even battling or bursting forward anymore. You would think it was preseason and he was building up his fitness? Just bizarre.
Luiz looks ready to go and offers little. No goal threat, no real key passes. So passive.
J Ramsey I really like but needs a rest.
Coutinho was poor and offered little going forward. Is he fed up with us already?
Bailey first half was stuck in treacle. Slightly better second half but boy he needs a solid preseason. Will Gerrard keep him though?
Watkins worked hard but has the touch of the ripper. Just awful by Premier League standards.
Everyone else was a 6 out of 10.
Tim Iroegbunam. I like you
Final point, we have to find a place for Emi Buendia. Total waste on the bench.

This is ok, nothing more.
Looking reasonably untroubled and a clean sheet. So far so good.
However, we’re not really troubling Leicester either. Bailey has lost any pace he had for some reason and perhaps lost any confidence he had?
McGinn sluggish again and Luiz sloppy.
We’re holding them but more so because Leicester haven’t left third gear.

Don’t concede, don’t lose. C’mon.
-
Please don’t concede a stupid goal in the first 15 minutes.
A clean sheet would be good.
Will be ecstatic with a win but would take a draw right now.
-
I would have liked Chambers, Nakamba and perhaps Buendia starting but let’s see.
Bailey is due a good game and it’ll be tough against Justin and Fofana, who both have pace as well.- 1
-
At least Vardy and Barnes aren’t starting for them.
Still have Daka, Maddison and Lookman in the first eleven though.

Depending on where you go and sometimes what part of the country you’re in, chip shop curry sauce can be very fruity, including having sultanas in it. I like it.
I’m on holiday in the Torbay area right now and again the curry sauce here seems quite dark and thick like gravy but very sweet/fruity.

McGrath would be our obvious choice but slim pickings after that.
Barry, Yorke maybe? However, more likely for their time with other clubs.
-
He’s had a wasted season no doubt about it but he’s certainly not a finished player.
His career with us may end this summer but he’s only 26 and has some really good pedigree across Europe already. If we do try and sell him in the next few months, we’ll probably lose money on our approx 17m outlay.
However, I’d still expect something around 10-12m or and this could be the best option, is loan him out to a decent European side and hope he plays regular games. Get his value up again.
We could still make a profit on Bert, it’s just being clever with our sales pitch. Whether we do or don’t though, I can’t see him being part of our squad next season.

I'm 48 now and whilst I have planned for a hopefully long retirement, in terms of having a decent pension, I am certainly not taking it for granted and waiting until I retire to do things I can be doing now.
Sorry to hear of your loss and experience’s of cancer etc. Just happens so fast with some people. It’s upset Mrs F today, it really has. We’re both 47 and very similar to you, want to enjoy ourselves now as much as plan for the future together.

A very good friend of Mrs F passed away this morning. 53 and taken by cancer.
It really is no age and the scary thing is that they were only diagnosed last August.
It puts things into perspective a lot and that we should live life to the full now. Mrs F and I talk a lot about what we’re going to do in retirement but I really hope we get there and more. Anything can happen in an instance.

a few players who can defend would be novel.....so Chambers and Nakamba in for me, providing they are fit.
Konsa would sit this one out on the basis of his turgid display against Spurs....but of course, we don't know what reaction he has given in training....but he needs to swap passive for aggressive.
so you’re completely agreeing with me then?- 1

We’ve got to try something different with the team and play either 3-4-2-1 or 4-3-3 with Chambers and especially Nakamba in, because the current formation is killing us when our full backs push on.
Konsa shouldn’t be starting after recent performances but Hause cannot be fit to start, otherwise I would put him in. Fingers crossed on Digne, otherwise Young starts. 3-4-2-1
Martinez
Konsa Chambers Mings
Cash Nakamba Luiz Digne
Ramsey Coutinho
Watkins
Ramsey or Buendia, or just Coutinho as a 10 and go with Watkins and Ings as a two up top?
Alternatively, we could try a more solid 4-3-3
Martinez
Cash Chambers Mings Digne
Ramsey Nakamba Luiz

Jaws. Hooper and Quint throughout the whole film we’re great and I could have picked numerous lines/scenes.
