i really do feel were in for a struggling season....

People can say dont over react etc... but this is going to be one hard season, were weaker than last year and from xmas onwards we were very poor, i fear were gunna be the big team who struggles this season..... too late to buy big, we aint like other clubs who needed to tinker with the team and can do it later, we need an influential defender and midfielder and we needed them early to let them settle. I predict M'ON to walk by xmas!!!

Based on a player, i remember Man City ripping us apart at VP and Barton was so good on that night... so theres a good player in there .... On the other hand he is a complete tosser so for the general outlook of the club id say dont sign him yet if he moved down here and M'ON worked some magic on his mentality then he is a decent player. If Villa signed him id give him a chance like i give every player a chance and what he does elsewhere means nothing to me if he came and did a job for us!!!

General, Looking at this forum from your point of view...well lets say I feel sorry for you!!! Constant moaning and whining and a constant barrage of questions - people need to look back at before you came to the club, the place was a sinking ship and I for one was ready for giving in the season ticket... Were now 5th in the league, beat Ajax in Europe and the place has a surge of optomism yet on here there are still groans. It is annoying me for one so bless you for not getting too uptight and please realise that MOST villa fans are well behind everyone and I feel that Yourself,Randy and the team are genuine Legends of Aston Villa Football Club already and im very proud of the football club... Its a no from me.. I feel very worried for the new season - we were lucky last season with injuries and suspensions and with Barry going and Mellberg gone (also Boumas Injury)we are definatly weaker this season than last...

I appreciate that General but Villa fans were here long before M'ON and as much as we all Trust M'ON weve be bluffed off on previous occasions and it does wear thin. When Teams like Spurs,Pompey,newcastle are strengthening were standing still - Thats how it seems on the outside. We Trust you and the team and the longer we go unstrengthened the more underwhelmed we will all be... Im not being negative but with our team now i would donate £200 to acorns if we finished 6th or above...
