The horse on the bet should be voided, shouldn't it?
so what does that mean for my bets? does that just mean my original stakes in the lucky 15 are increased as I don't have a few of the bets or do I get them refunded or how does it work? I am most confused :?
-
damn, thought i had first lieutenant coming in then.
Any one know what happens to a lucky 15 if one of the horses are a non runner?
-
Got my first winner of the festival off that one which is nice
-
I've picked my lucky 15 for the day
1:30 - Teaforthree
2:05 - Batonnier
2:40 - First Lieutenant
3:20 - Sizing Europe
Ive also had a small each way bet on Pool Master in the 4pm
-
Anyone know of any good offers from any of the bookies for today such as free bets?
-
I had four bets today and four losers
Hopefully tomorrow will bring better luck.
I got a limit of £10 a day on the old betting money so I need a win to be able to bet on every race lol!

It looks like me and the missus are going to drive round Ireland for our holiday this year and was hoping some people might give us a couple of tips of where to go? We were thinking about going to Belfast and then driving anti-clockwise(ish) for 10 days before finishing up in Dublin. I've read the thread on Dublin so I'm thinking of visiting Kilmainham Gaol & the Guinness factory.
How long should I spend in Belfast, is there much to see there? I definately want to go as my Nan was born there. Obviously while I'm in Northern Ireland, I'd like to go see giants causeway too but I haven't done my research enough yet to see where exactly it is and how long to spend there so I can fit it into our trip.
Any other suggestions of must see places/things?
Also a side note, whats the price of petrol like in the Republic/Northern Ireland compared to England?

£25k a year to live in Cheltenham whilst saving the country from imminent danger, is it any wonder they are short of applicants?
By the way if you want to show how underhand and devious you are and can think like a cyber terrorist just click here
Cheltenham is a lovely place to live! I live just round the corner from the doughnut as it happens.

Well if you've cracked it you'd know tony
Any clues for those of us who are struggling to work it out? I know what happens when you crack it so I know its not a big deal if you give out a couple of pointers!

excellent performance from him tonight in the nextgen, moved the ball on quickly, never gave it away, he's just a superb footballer, i think he's got much more of a chance than gardner of making it here. He's a natural footballer, his first touch and passing is top drawer, i love watching him playexcellent performance from him tonight in the nextgen, he consistently beat ajax's right back for pace and skill, he can also cross the ball very well, he's got real potential, i'm very excited about this player
Who?
I would imagine he is talking about cameron from what I saw last night. He had an excellent fist half last night, as did Carruthers. For me Cameron though will struggle when he comes against a full back who is as quick as him as I don't believe he is that skillful. Carruthers is the more skillfull out of the two but he just got kicked for most of the night.
DJ had a solid game and looked like he wanted to get the ball down and play football, and was quick to break going forwards.
Gardner didn't do too much last night except score the goals, reminded me of Frank Lampard in that respect.
Graham when he came on looked good and did the best skill of the night in the last minute when he skinned about 4 ajax players and was through on goal before unbelievably the ref brought it back for a foul on him instead of playing the advantage. the Ref got rightly booed by the fans for that.
Our two centre backs looked solid and assured and Neslon-Addy also looked good. Kinsella struggled for me, but he might have just been nervous in front of the fans.
all in all it was a very good performance.

I haven't given up on him!
A midfield of Herd, Ireland, Jenas, Nzogbia and Gabby if we go 4-5-1 has lots of goals in it IMO. That said, Petrov is virtually nailed on for a starting place it would seem.
Petrov has been our most consistant performer this year and looks solid in the midfield. It would be ludicrous to drop him for Ireland who is the most inconsistant performer this year. I wouldn't drop Heskey for Ireland!
Petrov has been excellent for us for a good number of years now, its laughable how many people on here have a problem with him! We do not currently have a CM in our squad that I would start over Stan

Thats brilliant thanks guys

I'm hoping the wonderful world of villatalk can come to my rescue, I stupidly agreed to host a quiz (after a few beers) as a fundraiser for my football club and I could do with a bit of help from someone with photoshop skills?
I basically want this picture of fatty frank distorted so its difficult to tell who it is. I dunno how to do it, usually they extend out their chin and things on this part of the picture round don't they?
Anyway, hopefuly one of you understands what I mean and can help out?

They won't get to the group stages of the Europa unless they get a really cushy draw.
I thought they qualified automatically for the group stages?
See Rapid Vienna, last two seasons
ah yeah, I'd forgotten about them, I must of completely removed those games from my memory!

Blackburn must be shitter than I thought to have conceeded 4 to us!
Just three of that side started today, in case you hadn't noticed.

I'm sharing a lift with my boss tomorrow who is a Fulham season ticket holder and has a ticket in the away end. We wanna go for a dink before the game and I couldn't think if there was any home & away friendly pubs?
I'm sure i've met away fans in the aston manor hotel before but i could have made that up! Any one know?

has any one watched broadwalk empire?
I've seen the adverts for it and it looks kinda like a gangster programme? I love the mafia films and series such as the sopranos so I wondered if it was worth watching?

I'm bringing a mate tomorrow to his first ever football match. At the grand old age of 26 he has decided he wants to see what all of the fuss is about, so I wanted to get your guys thoughts about what I should make sure he sees/where goes etc to make sure he loves it as much as poss.
So far we are getting b'fast at 12, jumping on a train to brum at 1:15 and heading towards the pubs around the ground for about half 2. I was thinking of popping into the social 1st then the addys before a quick pint in the ground and up to our seats with about 10 mins to spare before kick off (Sat in K4 so hopefully its a good atmosphere for him).
To me that sounds about right, any one thing I'm missing some thing fairly obvious for him to be doing?
-
I think we will get Swansea away
-
We are shit because most of our players are shit. NOT because of Houllier!
thats the problem
the same shit players who got us 6th before?

I ended up getting some of my stake back and some winnings, so i'm guessing I got refunded any bets where that horse was involved.
