  1. Sorry, but did you see him against Everton? Got taken off at Goodison. He is captain. He wasn't injured either. Such a poor poor performance from someone that has such a big reputation. Plays in a poor league where they have two competitive teams. Is that the only game you have seen him in? The guy is immense. One poor performance doesn't mean the player is automatically a bad buy.
  2. Moutinho and Soldado. Hubba hubba. Mission accomplished. Soldado from Getafe? *drools*
  3. Joao Mountinho please Martin. Then raid Schalke with the change and pick up Farfan and Rafinha
  4. Let's just go for Joao Moutinho. Just in case like
  5. Bentley won't come as a squad player. He can do that at Spurs AND get some Champions League games.
  6. TJ - One player doesn't make a team. Whilst i do love Milner and i think he could become a legend here, £25million is a lot of money. IF we get all of that money to put in getting other players here then it will help build a better squad. If City came back with £25mil on the table i'd seriously consider accepting.
  7. IIRC a lot of developers said that PS3 was extremely difficult to make games for due to it's complexity or something. I forget the exact line. Anyway, not ALL multi-format games favour the 360. Final Fantasy XIII for example. To slightly go off topic i live by this rule when it comes to current gen gaming. 360 - Better gaming console PS3 - Better multimedia console
  8. Who is also young, hungry, talented, level-headed, loyal, experienced, versatile.. oh, and English. The price tag isn't just for current ability. It's for potential, nationality (especially with the home-grown rule coming into force) and mentality. You could also add in the fact that he is a Key Player at the club he is at, if the club don't want to sell and don't have to sell then the price automatically goes up.
  9. why can't he be? you've said on many occasions that Agbonlahor is 1 of the best strikers in the league, Delfouneso is streets ahead of Agbonlahor at the same age IN YOUR OPINION Blimey, if Delf is so much better than Gabby then why is Gabby our first choice striker?
  10. ok then so you'd rather risk losing the best young striker in the country? What we pay him now makes no difference to whether he stays or goes. If he's attracting attention in 2 years we'll offer him the money then. Paying it him now when no-one's particularly interested is madness. if he leaves in 2 years and his reason is "Villa didn't pay me £50k a week for the past 2 years" then he can **** off anyway. Well I've seen reports recently saying that Everton will offer Jack Rodwell 50k per week and he's the same age as Delfouneso and a lot less potential imo, it's called looking after your best assets or risk losing them I swear you just argue for the hell of it. What has Delfouneso done to warrant 50k a week? Nothing. He MIGHT end up on that wage somewhere along the line, but he needs to earn it. We can't afford to pay a rarely used substitute 50k a week. Saying we'll miss out on him is absurd. If we don't think he is worth 50k a week (and in my opinion, no football player on this earth is worth that much) then i wouldn't expect us to pay it.
  11. When i used to go to The Shed in Brierley Hill (still can't believe it closed down) there was a burger van outside. They did something called 'The SCOBB'. Sausage, Cheese, Onion, Bacon Burger. It was the single most orgasmic thing that i have ever eaten in my life. Whether being a little drunk every time I had one had something to do with it remains to be seen. Not seen another burger van offer this heavenly dish.
  12. How can i see it if he doesn't play? In the Premier League this season he has started 2 games and come on as a sub for 11 games.... 1 goal. In the FA Cup, 3 starts and 1 sub appearance, 4 goals. Looks a bit more respectable. Goals against Cardiff, Preston North End, and Watford. He's still unproven in the Premier League and imo we should be looking for the guy who has experience at the higher levels and who can take us to the next level. I'd imagine Delf's stats are not far away from those. Would seem odd to spend a fair bit of cash for someone who may not be any better in a few years time. Especially since they'd both be fighting for the same place. Delfouneso - 2 starts, 11 sub appearances, 3 goals (Premier League, Carling Cup and FA Cup.)
  13. The Holy Grail... The Heart Attack Grill "The establishment is a hospital theme restaurant: waitresses ("nurses") take orders ("prescriptions") from the customers ("patients"). A tag is put on the patient's wrist showing which foods they ordered and a "doctor" examines the "patients" with a stethoscope. The menu includes "Single", "Double", "Triple", and "Quadruple Bypass" hamburgers, ranging from 0.5 to 2 lb (0.23 to 0.91 kg) of beef (up to about 8000 kilocalories), "Flatliner Fries" (cooked in pure lard), unfiltered cigarettes, beer and liquor, and soft drinks such as Jolt cola and Mexican Coke made with real sugar. Customers over 350 lb (160 kg) in weight eat for free if they weigh in with a doctor or nurse before each burger. Beverages and to-go orders are excluded and sharing food is also not allowed for the free food deal" *drools*

  15. Golden Drummers. I could just eat a whole load of them with gravy, sooooo good but sooooo bad.
  16. The same Jelle Van Damme that couldn't make the grade at a relegation-bound Southampton? Who, during a heated match called Oguchi Onyewu a "Dirty Ape"? I'd rather Jean-Claude personally, he seems like less of an utter clearing in the woods and I imagine he would get stuck in good and proper. Defour's still crocked if memory serves, and if he does manage to recapture his form after injury I believe Alex Ferguson was courting him so I can't imagine we'd be in with a shout if we were interested. I haven't seen enough (or indeed any) of Axel Witsel, but it seems he was involved in a stamping incident where he broke an opponents' leg... crikey, these Belgian players are a class act! Hey, the man asked. I delivered 8)
  17. Good! Sign him up! Realistically though, don't you think we need a striker and a sort of playmaker? You've chose a right back not much better than the one's we already have then a defensive midfielder who you seem'd to have randomly picked out the bag. Haven't seen Muamba play much myself... Just thought too, what about Reo-Coker? You'd rather have him over the legend Co-co? Honestly, my team would be different from the one i posted. I was just looking at it from a 'stereotypical' MON POV i suppose. Minimal change, English signings, young etc... Ideally i'd like to see us sign a striker who can finish and poach, a play-making midfielder to link up to the striker(s), a holding midfielder who can break up play and distribute the ball out to our attacking players, and a right back. I'd also be inclined to say a goalkeeper as Guzan doesn't seem to be developing as i thought he would. My list, if i were to be manager would be; Striker: Radamel Falcao (Yes I have seen him play) Play-Maker: Steven Defour Holding Midfielder: Scott Parker Right Back: Paulo Ferreira Goalkeeper: Ben Foster If we had a spare bit of cash i'd love us to sign Romelu Lukaku from Anderlecht. He's only 17, but he looks amazing. 15 goals in 30 games last season. Then again, we have Delfouneso so...
  18. Actually he played in 35 of Boltons Premier League games, and he was named as the Bolton News player of the season! And i couldn't care less if he used to play for Brum tbh mate and i'm sick of people neglecting players because of reasons like that.
  19. -----------------------Friedel----------------------- Onuoha----Cuellar----------Dunne----Warnock ------------Muamba----------Petrov--------------- -----------------------Jimmy----------------------- Young-------------------------------------Downing -----------------------Gabby------------------------ SUBS: Guzan, Collins, Young, Delph, Albrighton, Delfouneso, Carew What would people think of something like that? Yeah, only 2 players in, but both young hungry players and it looks solid enough. Don't wanna be buying in loads of players and hinder the youth we have coming through.
