  1. Was going out for a drink tonight with an old uni mate of the female variety. We never quite got together at the time despite it being blatantly obvious she wanted my cock as much as I wanted to smash her back doors in.

All arranged last week, last night get a text saying 'Just to be sure, this isnt a date right? Were just catching up, just dont want to send out any wrong signals'

Get **** love. Ordered a chinky in instead and gonna watch some californication.

  2. Nothing much at all this weekend. No doubt doing something with the missus Saturday and Sunday day time. She's got shows tomorrow night and Saturday night so I'll probably catch up on some TV / gaming while she's out.

  3. Here’s what I see in the Ravens’ schedule for 2012:

+ It looks tough. No surprise there. Even before Tuesday night’s unveiling, the Ravens knew their 13 opponents combined for a .527 winning percentage in 2011, tying them for the fourth-hardest schedule of 2012. Exactly half of their games are against teams that made the playoffs last year. It’s hard to hide in there.

+ Having said that, there are some things about the schedule the Ravens will like. Three of their first four games are at M&T Bank Stadium, where they didn’t lose a game last year. That gives them a chance to get off to a strong start. By the same token, three of their last five also are at home.

+ The fact that there are “homestands” to open and close the season means, of course, the middle of the season is rough. Here’s how rough: they only play two home games, total, in October and November. That stretch will surely test the playoff mettle of a team that struggled on the road (.500) in 2011.

+ Clearly, Ravens Owner Steve Bisciotti was heard when he made it known last summer that he was pretty irked about his team having to play two Monday night road games in 2011 when it hadn’t hosted a Monday night game since 2007.

“I was very disappointed because I had mentioned it to the scheduling guys,” he said on a fan conference call before last season. “When we didn’t get it last year, they took note, but I will bet you a Ravens hat and a shirt that we are on Monday Night Football at home next year.”

Well, he can stash those hats and shirts away for another wager. He was right. The Ravens open the 2012 season with a Monday night home game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

+ For those keeping track of such things, they will break a Monday night home drought of 1,743 days when they face the Bengals on Sept. 10. Their most recent one before this was on Dec. 3, 2007, against New England.

+ Despite those crazy numbers, let’s not go down the Paranoia Path, still so easily summoned in Ravenstown. No, the league doesn’t have it in for the Ravens. Baltimore’s team is on Sunday night football twice, Monday night football once and Thursday night football once in 2012. That’s plenty of prime-time exposure. The NFL does not hate the Ravens. To the contrary, it loves the Ravens.

+ If there is such a thing as a well-positioned bye, the Ravens have one – in Week 8, almost exactly halfway through the season and right in the middle of their tough midseason stretch of five out of seven games on the road. Just guessing, the break will be welcomed.

+ Two games in three weeks against the Steelers? Sorry, not my favorite. Why not just go all in and do the games on back to back Sundays? Hey, how about a doubleheader?

+ Looking quickly, there are a couple of especially tough turnarounds on this schedule.

The Ravens get their AFC title-game rematch with the New England Patriots on a Sunday night in September – sure to be a big night – but then they have to play again just four days later, on a Thursday night against Cleveland. The only thing that makes it acceptable is both games are at M&T Bank Stadium.

Later in the season, they face the Steelers in Pittsburgh on a Sunday night and the Chargers in San Diego the following week. That means a middle-of-the-night return from Pittsburgh and four days of practice followed by a cross-country trip and a game against a team that blasted them a year ago. Then another game against Pittsburgh the next week. There’s nothing unfair in there; it’s just tough sledding, especially considering the caliber of the opposition.

+ When the 2011 schedule was unveiled a year ago (in the middle of the lockout, by the way, ugh, remember that?), people in Baltimore circled the December home game against the Colts as a big one – another grudge game. But things had changed, to say the least, by the time the game rolled around. The Colts were winless.

  4. I'll agree with football. I just had this conversation with a customer.

Him: Villa aren't looking very safe at the minute, I reckon you could go down you know.

Me: Honestly? I couldn't care any less. I've hardly watched any football this year and as soon as McLeish was appointed I've lost all interest.

Him: You weren't saying that when you were finishing 6th.

Me: McLeish wasn't in charge then. We've gone from bad to worse since MON left us, for one reason or another. Football has just lost it's appeal due to money.

Him: I'll bet if Villa were brought by a Sheikh or something you'd start watching again.

Me: Probably not, I just said money is one of the reasons I've lost interest.

This went on for a while with him saying that if Villa were in Cities shoes I'd be going up every week and that I'm a shit fan. Don't give a toss what he says, but football in general pisses me off now.

  5. I wouldn't say we argue, but we do bicker on occasion, usually about silly things where we have differing opinions or we misheard each other. Not full on shouting arguing though.

    I hate confrontation anyway.

  7. I've fell off the horse already and started a new Nord warrior character >_< I don't know why, it just feels right.

Got to Riverwood and Whiterun to unload all of my stash on my travels. Joined the Companions, did the main quest up to the point where I can buy a house (for storage) and generally roamed for a while. Smithed me a fine set of armour that should last me a while and then continued to build up my proficiency in certain areas (Heavy Armour, One-Handed, Block, Archery, Smithing, Enchanting, Alchemy)

    Horned Steel Helmet (Flawless)

    Steel Armour (Flawless)

    Steel Nordic Gauntlets (Flawless)

    Steel Cuffed Boots (Flawless)

    Steel Shield (Flawless)

    Steel War Axe (Flawless)

On my way to Riften now to open up the Thieves Guild so I have more merchants/fences to sell to and raise the amount of money they have on them.

  8. With the 21st pick in the 2012 VT Mock Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select...

    Kendal Wright

    Baylor

    Wide Receiver

Wright is classed as the 3rd best WR in the draft and with this pick Dalton has another weapon to compliment AJ Green. With their O-line issue addressed with their first pick the Cincinnati offense looks a whole lot better. He is a great athlete and possesses all the required skills to have a long career in the NFL at his position. He can scorch defences and his route running is flawless. Expect to see him causing havoc across the middle.

  9. With the 18th pick in the 2012 VT Mock Draft, the San Diego Chargers select...

    Nick Perry

    Southern California

    DE/OLB

The Chargers need to address the pass rush and Perry is the best player on the board for that. He can line up at DE or OLB (prefers the latter) so will offer versatility on plays. Will immediately help on the outside, although as with most players coming out of college he just show some areas that need to be improved.

  10. And, It's, OOOON!

Not been able to do much Assassin stuff as my sneak stat and sneak attack bonuses aren't yet high enough, but it's still fun trying to sneak around.

Joined up with the Thieves Guild and got my armour. Just doing a few quests there (and also the side quests that the guys give you to restore the guild in other cities) and a few odd side quests that I come across. Level 10 at the moment.

Kind of miss my Nord Warrior guy though. Just charging head first into shit with my Daedric Armour yelling profanities.

  11. The one I hate is

    Me: Hello, John Smith's phone

    Them: Is John there?

Me: No, that's why I've just answered his phone...

I know they can't really help it, I'd probably do the same. But still.

Yeah that too. Answering Dads phone when he's on the landline.

    Me: Steve's phone, Dante speaking

    Them: Hi Steve, it's Tony

    Me: This is Dante..

  12. Welcome back Wigster!!!!!

Sounds like you had a good one mate.

Yeah, had a great time cheers mate. Got back yesterday at around 3pm and still dont feel "right".

The hangovers i can sort of handle, but i think its the lack of sleep that really **** your body up...that and not drinking enough water.

No stag do is a good one if you are not hooked up to dialysis on your return!

  13. Managed to start last night and get the beginning out of the way. (Character creation, Dragon attack). Going the Imperial route this time.. racist Nord bastards.

Just finished looting the tower, got all kitted out and saved it. Nice start when I get home tonight.

  14. After booting up my 360 again and playing ME3 (and completing) I'm feeling the urge for some Skyrim once more. Don't get to play it often, but a tinkle every now and again might keep the game fresh rather than playing for hours and hours at a time! Got my build all planned out.

    Assassin Build

    Dunmer Female, 2 handed daggers.

Smithing, One Handed, Alchemy, Illusion, Sneak, Light Armour

Aura Whisper and Throw Voice as main shouts

I intend to go about and get kitted up in

Shrouded Gloves (for back attack boost)

Dark Brotherhood Shrouded Armour (Worn shrouded armour is better as you can enchant)

Volsung Mask (Water breathing, 20% better prices, 20 extra carry weight)

    Valdr's Lucky Dagger (Critical chance)

    Mehrunes' Razor (OHK chance)

ASAP. Means Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild are my go to places.

I'll be using illusion a lot to disorientate my foes, and sneak attacks will be utilised as much as possible. Also going to use alchemy as I've never done it before, but poisons and invisibility potions will work well with this build.

  15. With the 15th pick in the 2012 VT Mock Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select...

    Dontari Poe

    Memphis

    Defensive Tackle

The Eagles have a hole to fill on the D-line and Poe could be their long term fix for it. He is amazingly strong (44 reps @ 225lbs at the combine) and shows a lot of potential. Having just drafted for DeMeco Ryans you'd have to assume that they would pass on a linebacker in the first round, although you never know.
