Just finished Godfather of Harlem season 3. I'd say it was as good as seasons 1 and 2 and have really enjoyed it.

They could finish it where it is now but I'd imagine there could well be a season 4.

I've got this ready to watch. Cracking show, just a shame its tucked away on some obscure streaming service.

Went to Coventry air museum today, which was a good day out, me and the lad. On the way back stopped at the petrol station for a snack and drink and thought I would use the charger there as the EV car I am using was showing 30 miles. Now I know there are chargers being installed at most petrol stations now, but who's gonna use them really. Waiting around for 30 minutes (not fully charged) while at a petrol station was just mind numbing, who is going to do that. It's okay in the city or at the services where you can have a walk around, but at a petrol station, I doubt it'll catch on.

Not seen a single one installed where I drive, at any petrol station. Spend most my time driving between Worcestershire/West Mids. I was almost thinking its a H&S thing stopping rapid chargers being close to petrol tanks, but maybe not eh.

When I was a college student in the 90's, I was sleeping off a heavy night before, when I heard a knock at the door. It was about midday. I schlepped downstairs and opened the door, dressed only in my underpants. I heard the word 'Jesus' uttered as the door swung open, but as the majesty of my bepanted figure greeted the two well dressed gentlemen on my doorstep, the talking stopped. We stood there in complete silence regarding each other for 30 seconds. No one said a word. Then at the same time, they turned and walked away, and I closed the door.

They literally thought I was beyond redemption. And in fairness, they were right.

I really wished later on that I'd said 'can I have a pamphlet'. Would have been a good kiss-off line.

Are you sure you didn't have a morning boner poking out of your pants as you greeted them on the doorstep?

Or women with things like HE11 CAT or B1TCH, both of which I've seen on white luxury cars.

I know I would hate any time in their company.

These are the kind of females you don't take round to meet your parents, but rather stay at home for a bit of DHUTWU action.

I have been watching A Southern Scandal on Netflix and having watched 2 episodes I have to say it is an extremely gripping story.

I have just noticed today that there was a court case going on in last few weeks and has just come to its conclusion. It’s about the Alex Murdtaugh murder trial.

Is it me or do all the kids involved come across as words removed? There's a whiff of bullshit in their stories.

In contrast, I finished Andor last night and it's easily the best Star Wars thing since the OT. If you haven't watched it forget about all the other shows and just watch that I'd say. It feels like an actual TV show, not some shoved out 'content' 'product' nothingness.

This. Also it looks like a different team of writers and directors for Andor who actually know how to tell a good story with good characters.

Mandolorian should of finished at S2.

And I don't mind the idea that oasis were purely a lad band, unfortunately I'll also happily admit that I spent a fair bit of my 20s being a lad...and I wasn't going round my mates house or on the pub juke box putting on the universal or radio heads latest envelope pusher

I must be close to your age as this is how I remember the mid 90's. I was about 20 and the music was great, so many great bands being played on the radio.

I still listen to Oasis and Shed Seven most days even now.

The tracker price with Octopus for gas has been half the amount as the standard tariff for the past five days... piss take.

Its certainly a piss take if you're not lucky enough to be on it.

My mother in law had a contract for about £30 a month as it included the latest Samsung handset at the time. About 4 years later she still has the same phone, long out of contract and still paying the £30 plus a bunch of inflationary rises when she could have been in a sim-only £8 or £10 a month tariff.

I thought the operators were forced to put you on a SIM only tariff once the cost of the handset had been paid off during the term of the initial contract?

I’m tempted to just leave tbh. I’ve been with them for many years and done the annual bartering thing. Tbh the rest of the family do nothing but complain about the broadband dropping out. I actually had to buy another one (Vodafone) to keep them happy but that is cancelled now as out of contract.

I was previously paying about £77 including the other broadband. The VM broadband has been better since we got the hub 5 and the pods but it’s still choppy at times.

I’m tempted to go with Sky as they have 500mb/s and standard TV and Netflix for £60 a month. No dish. Possibly somewhere around £100 cashback from Quidco too.

I can get 145mb/s on that package for £50 but with everyone using it and work, and TV I think it’s best to go bigger.
