I was thinking about Mayor of Kingstown, having heard good things. Which channel is it on?

I have a feeling its not currently legally available to stream in the UK

But I also suspect that given the second series is due in January that it might appear again soon

I think Paramount+ have it legally to stream and AppleTV have it to buy. Otherwise its the high seas.

Enjoying Animal Kingdom on Prime, but the constant flashbacks in season four are boring.

This flashback theme continues to the end of the series unfortunately. There's a few interesting plot lines but its mostly the younger Smurf just being her usual annoying self (she's FAF though, cracking cans)

Yeah I was on O2 until recently, and was always annoyed at how everyone around me seemed to be able to use their phones at VP.  I had not a shred of signal when anywhere near the ground.

Switched to EE and all good in there.  I'm pretty sure Vodafone works too.

EE put their own in-stadium system into VP about 12 months ago. Its got 2 x 10Gbit backhaul leaselines in there with a shitload of 4G/5G antennas facing all the stands. Coverage and data speeds should be very, very good.

Thought I would re - binge Boardwalk Empire. What a character Nelson van Alden was, an anal- retentive, religious maniac, with a badge. Michael Shannon is truly underrated, imo.

I did the exact same thing earlier this year. Such a great show, one of HBO's finest IMO.

They really really need to decouple electricity price from gas. I've a feeling that could be the biggest help.  We only really need gas (for heating) around 3 months of the year.  If we can get cheap electricity for the other 9 months from renewable energy those 3 months will be spread out over the rest of the year.

The way the electricity market works is bonkers.  If we go the whole day on cheap wind and solar power but need to fire up a single gas turbine for the last hour of the day, the whole days electricity is charged at that expensive gas generator price.

I understand there are complicated reasons that also make (or probably made) sense for this to be the case but its madness now.

This. How can the price of electricity generated by a wind turbine in the North Sea be linked to wholesale gas we buy from Norway or Qatar is crazy. I don't understand why more of a fuss in the media isn't being made about this.

I’m basically just repeating myself by now, but I can’t watch a single episode of this show without coming on here to say how freaking excellent it is.

Yep. 100% agree, its a brilliant show.

It's also getting cheaper to fill with fuel than to charge your electric car at some public charging points. Coincidence, I think not!

Friend of mine did a trip from Stourbridge to Harrogate in his Tesla and said he thought the cost of using public chargers wasn't far off filling his Discovery up with diesel for the same round trip.

I was hoping for some more wholesome emery content today and feel a bit romantically undernourished

There's specialist websites that can help with that sir.

Loving this series already and I'm only 3 episodes in - even Ellen Barkin might be worth a dabble 😉

    Decent rack for a pensioner.

The relationship between her and her sons/boys is just weird/creepy. No idea why there is so much kissing on the lips.

Been going that way for a while, sacking or shifting decent presenters and replacing them with newsreaders or useless pillocks like Rakeeeeem.

Once Paul Franks cut his hours back and Reago got the tin-tac whilst having the likes of Henry Liston take over you could see BBC had gone down the bargain basement route. I hope the phone-in can survive online maybe. There is no other place I can get my care in the community fix.

Or a Triumph Stag, or a favourite of my youth, a Reliant Scimitar!

Something about unreliable Midlands built cars that does it for me!

Or maybe a rare as hen's teeth Jensen Interceptor!

    Animal Kingdom on Prime.

Decent cast, after half a dozen episodes there's not one character who doesn't seem to be utter vermin, except maybe the guy who played Michael in Peaky Blinders.

Lots of sex and violence to keep one amused at least.

Just finished watching the whole series. I think you'll have to go to the high seas for the last couple of seasons. But its great fun throughout.

What do you use at the moment?

I've only been using the bog standard supermarket bags so far, Taylors, Lavazza and Starbucks. I find they all taste very very similar, I guess that that's to be expected with these brands?
