Come January a striker who can stick the ball in the back of the net is wanted. Vagner Love has good stats. Other than that, I'm happy. Downing and Albrighton are sticking some beautiful crosses in. Can't wait for the full game so I can carry this save on.

I'm over budget too by about 15k. Young isn't doing it for me at the moment though, Downing is doing really well. Have signed: Pienaar, Alou Diarra, V.D.Wiel, Ninis (loan). Ninis is having a stormer. Diarra's been rubbish, I told him so and he got annoyed, told him I'm the manager and all that and he requested a transfer haha. Sold: Carew, Salifou, Osbourne all on free's as couldn't get anyone to buy and wanted rid. Most reserves out on loan and Beye out on loan for 250k with agreed price of £4.7m Heskey is sitting in the reserves transfer listed. Managed to piss him off enough to get him to accept mutual termination but board blocked it due to excessive money. Currently 3rd after 8 games, 4 won, 4 drew. James Collins is 5th best player in Prem so far. Ireland is the 4th although he got injured after 5th game and out for a month or so. He was playing brilliantly too. In a tough EL group with Atletico Madrid, Palermo, Zilina. Decided to play the 2nd string in every cup competition though. Beat Palermo at home, got smashed by Atletico away. Only lost 3-1 but could have been a lot more. EDIT - Also through in LC after beating Stoke at home. Got Coventry away in 4th Rd. Lots of big clubs out already. Could get a good cup run at least.

Just drew 2-2 with Man Utd. 7th game in, they were top without conceding. I was 3rd. Went 1 up, then on HT Warnock gets sent off for fouling Nani. Never a red. I go 2 up midway through 2nd half after Vidic hauls down Gabby in the box. No card (Where have I heard that before?). Collins steps up 2-0. Rio pulls one back from a corner on 70 mins. Vidic gets a yellow for another incident, and should now be sent off but stupid ref didn't give a yellow for the pen. 94th minute Vidic pops up from a corner to equalise. I'm going mental!! To make matters worse I had 3 CCC's to their 1. In every single FM I always concede to Man Utd from corners!!

I'm creating clear cut chance time and time again. 5 or 6 a game. Just cannot convert them. Converting 1 in 4 or so, no matter whether I play Gabby or Fonz. Luckily it's not costing me at the moment

Playing Delfouneso in the cups and he's banging them in, think I might stick him up front instead. (I'm playing 4-4-1-1). 4 League games in, 10 pts. 3rd in league. Into EL group stages.

Yeah I know, but still thought it would be higher. He scores a few a season. Albrighton has the same. Surely Young's better. Not that I've ever seen Albrighton take a free kick but I'm thinking there's a reason for that.
