  1. So far, very impressive. Just wish you'd said that we'll lose against liverpool as you're bound to be wrong sooner or later, and I can see us lose that game. Had you put up a loss for us there I'd be much more confident of us getting a point or 3. Strange, eh? :-P I would have taken a point today

The way we've been playing recently, I actually think we will now beat Liverpool. If we do, I may reconsider some of my other results.
  4. No Mantis. I never bet on the Villa because I always let my heart rule my head.
  5. I'm hoping I can make it 5 on the trot tomorrow. C'mon you Villa boys. if we have 34 points going into the last 5 games as you have us, you'd have to fancy our chances of nicking a win against either norwich or wigan I really hope my last 5 predictions are well wide of the mark as well.

  7. C'mon Villa prove me wrong FFS
  8. I'm hoping/praying I get the next 2 results wrong
  9. I have been having a look at our remaining games. Trying to be objective and not letting my heart rule my head, I have come up with the following possible results: Everton - draw West Ham - Villa win Arsenal - Villa loss Man City - Villa loss Reading - Villa win QPR - Villa win Liverpool - draw Stoke - Villa loss Fulham - Villa win Man Utd - Villa loss Sunderland - draw Norwich - Villa loss Chelsea - Villa loss Wigan - Villa loss This would leave us finishing our league campaign on 35 points. Is that enough?
  10. Lets hope no one else takes a leaf out of your book!!

If he is, I'd hate to think what the question was.

Just done the BBC predictor and had us finishing on 35 points. This might just be enough!!
  13. Hi all, I am writing a book and need some help with my research. On the 5th November 1977 Villa beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield. I know Andy Gray scored both our goals. However, what I cant find out is; what minutes he scored his brace in and who scored the Liverpool goal. I have found out that it was an OG by one of the villa players but I cant find out who it was. Any help would be much appreciated. UTV
  14. So was Rooney,Young, Milner. Does this mean you wouldnt be interested if any of these were available?
  15. It's a real shame to see thetrees go. Loved the insider knowledge on Randy's whereabouts. Keep spotting m8
  16. They are really milking this aren't they. Its been a cracking bit of publiity for Molde off the back of us and has ultimatey shown them in a good light having kept there man regardless of whether we actaully ever wanted him.
  17. KMAC was mentioned on twitter yesterday as a surprise candidate. Whats everyones thoughts on this as a possibility?
  18. If we get Lambert he will bring in his own coaching staff
  19. Come on guys ALL we can do is go into next Sunday's game, leaving the post mortem till later..... and do our best to give it some welly to try & lift the players! Personally I blame AM for being a bad man motivator but I also think too many of our players have been hiding behind the flack aimed at him also this season.
  20. Me too. Hopefully it will mean we're safe. (fingers and everything else crossed.)
  21. I agree entirely, we must do eveything we can to get him out. Keep the pressure on until he goes. He says he is thick skinned, if I was on his salary then I would be. Obviously our first priority is survival but Mcleish has got to go ASAP. I actually disagree with this. He will certainly leave at the end of the season so there is no need to give him personal abuse. He wants to succeed and has worked hard for our club, but he just hasn't been good enough. It is RL who is culpable for appointing him in the first place. No one deserves that abuse for trying and failing. As much as I want him to go, I believe it is already all over for him and to personally abuse him wil reflect poorly on the integrity of the Villa fans so I won't be joining in with any chanting. Totaly agree with this post
  22. If he's got any sense, he should walk before he's pushed.
