  1. Were losing on average 5000 fans a home game this season . How can it make more financial sesnse to keep the root of the problem long term?
  2. playing in front of 20,000 on the back of huge losses = financial meltdown. AVB has gone , steve bruce and the bloke from the muppets at wolves. All sackings made for results based reasons and all justified. Its becoming pathetic that somehow because he was manager at small heath he should be given even longer than anyone else , what a joke. Sack him and bring Ray Wilkins in to see out the season.
  3. how many of the games this season that we have taken points in have been poor performances? everton away , wolves away , newcastle at home and so on. think back to bolton n the cup at home , one shot on 85 mins from a centre half , spurs away with hutton and heskey on the wings. for not starting with nzog and ireland today was criminal and heskey again on the wing is comical. he has no support from the fans and i saw our players getting pissed off with each other today.
  4. Travelled up today , Oh dear , oh dear. Heskey coming on instead of charles was the final straw for eveyone. Negative , boring , one dimentional and slow. It dont work , fix it , sack him now and dont dare think of keeping him on for next season because my £750 will stay in my pocket . The whole situation is financial and footballing suicide.
  5. One word that sums us up , One reason that ticket sales next season will be terrible , Quote " dad im BORED can we leave early " Please dont think of my 11 year old as being fairweather , its his first season ticket. 1979 was my first match , in all that time i honestly dont think i have ever been so bored watching us at home , for me thats his biggest crime . up the villa.
  6. I live in nuneaton , many times this season my lad who is 11 has wanted to take a mate with him but £25 is just stupid. This is a great idea , bring it to nuneaton i say , lots of untapped potential support.
  7. Any more rumours floating around ref the Quatar buyout?
  8. I left just before half time yestersday , never done that before . To watch my beloved team not compete and to see good players reduced to that was heartbreaking. That man is slowly killing us , he has taken my hope away and made me not look forward to watching us. 1979 was my first match , ive watched crap , ive seen greatness . Up the villa , mcleish out p.s i was one of the minority willing to support him , dear god.
  9. Damage was done to them long ago. ALbrighton, Fonz were damaged before this season, Delph is poor while Herd and Bannan seem to be doing well. Only one damaged is Clark All of them are ahead of heskey , hutton and petrov . I watched swansea against utd the weakend and even when they were one down they still were good to watch and showed skill , all from championship players . At times we look like a pub team.
  10. This cnut is going to do serious damage to our young players.
  11. could not believe the team picked for tonight. No flair , passion , style or youth . Keep it up ginger bollocks and you are in for some real stick from the fans and rightly so. I have backed this bloke so far but no more , absolute disgrace. Do us all a favour and **** off , please ! up the villa.
  12. Took my lad to the training session , mcleish was booed when he walked onto the pitch! All the talk of ticket prices being a major factor in the average gate being down 5000 are folly in my opinion. After myself and my lads 100 pound plus day out at fulham to the painfull hit and hope performance against sandwell town , a cotinuation of this boring non descript style of play , seen all to often before by our nearest and dearest , will very quickly suck the life and belief out of more punters. Up the villa.
  13. General keep up the good work, well done for getting the obscene wage bill down, well done for moving on high earning over age players, the club are starting to bear fruit from 5 years ago, Up the villa
  14. **** it , if after all the backlash he still wants the job , he and the board have my support . i like people who take on an against the odds challenge. he WANTS to be our boss , **** it im behind him!
  15. Well, Whilst trying to calm down over the mcleish situation i thought i would check out the mans stats as a player and manager. Please dont rip my nuts off but his managerial record aint that bad. motherwell , hibs , rangers , scotland and small heath. motherwell promotion , hibs 3rd in league , scotland 7 wins out of 10 miss out on last qualifier , rangers last 16 champions league , small heath , highest league finish for 50 years and first trophy for 48 years . oh and 12 game unbeaten run for blues in prem. Dont ram me up the bum but they would have stayed up easy if not for losing keay defenders. We stayed up because of darren bent. We have better players and more investment available , who knows?
  16. i have lived in nuneaton for the last 20 years , the cov thing is quite funny. they are not on the map , no one gives a shit about them and it pisses them off. horrible pointles shower of shit!
  17. stop fecking about villa , if that ginger gobshite gets the job youre all finished . great over reaction to a none factual story but it made me feel better
  18. if it does im keeping my 530 quid and will go and watch nuneaton borough.
  19. alex mcleish = no renewal of season ticket from a 42 year old die hard. there is no way on gods green earth that ginger nuts would be offered the job , it just wont happen!
  20. People get frustrated because they have no idea what conversations have taken place , what has been said and by who. If it is Martinez then so be it . I have watched Wigan play better football than Villa many times.
  21. General, whoever the club employ will be the right man at the right time. The silence is deafening at the moment , with good reason. I know in my heart the club would not employ a manager nobody wants at any price :winkold:
  22. if mclaren gets the villa job i will eat my own pooh!
  23. oneills worst signing , feckin useless.
  24. General, best wishes to Gerard and good luck. One person left us in the shit last year , not randy , not you , not the board. Randy has been and is a fantastic chairman for our club, long may it continue. Up the villa and the next manager .
  25. Hughes was a great player, Wales , good job blackburn , good job man city , good job fulham , good job the boy done well , perfect for us and our bugdet.
