The truth is nobody, other than those in the 'inner sanctum' know what is going on. I wouldn't place too much emphasis on what competing consoriums have to say, it is highly likely that they know about as much as us. Neville still hasnt been spoken too, I wonder why? - same goes for AV06. The ones that are not talking (to the media), Lerner and Still - both of whom have kept their cards very close to their chests, are most likely to be nearer to the truth, and as they aren't saying anything it impossible to know what is really going on. Lets just hope this is over asap, I can't take much more of it!

Is this Baggie Bill a different journalist to the Bill Howell of the Evening Mail? because that one has no reputation based on the fact he's got nearly everything wrong recently. He has however said whatever it is that the Ellis regieme has asked him to say Bicks, on the contrary - I think he has got everything spot on, albeit by ignoring the facts and relying on his 'insiders' His swallowing of the company line, and not reporting of the Villa-gate facts are reasons for the ire held against him. He usually bases things with no outside substance, like his front-page, back page spread, stating that MON will be manager in 24 hours - but you know what, I bet he is right (and certainly hope so )

Gareth Barry has experienced too much mediocrity at Villa to ever be a top player. He is used to losing, and losing in a Claret and Blue shirt - he wont and never will have the mindset of a winner due to the past 7 seasons. Milner on the other hand is still growing and no doubt believes that he will be a winner. Its a key difference for me and is why I would go with Milner every time. milner represents the future, barry represents the last 7 seasons - which quite frankly I would, on the whole, rather forget!
