Houllier **** up again made the wrong subs
No way should bannan have been taken off.
Should have been Petrov and Downing on for Young and Pires.
Did you not see Houllier whisper to Ash to get himself sent off?
No but could houllier not see that young had lost his head along time before his second yellow or the fact that Bannan was doing an immense job of closing people down and giving them little time on the ball?
Just post the double facepalm picture jez...
In this case AshVilla is right, it was completely obvious A Young was going to get sent off, he had clearly lost his head.
Ahh yes, when you lack wit, resort to internet funnies :|

cheers ref, single handedly given them a way back into this match
It was a stupid challenge that was asking for trouble.
-
Well there is a surprise. Ash off.
Honestly, I could see that he was heading a red, so could the commentators i'm listening too. Why couldn't the bench?
Stupid from Ash and stupid from he bench

Where has Gabby gone?
Hes up front.. where the ball hasn't been for a while.

We can't get hold of the ball, or even get out of our own half against a shit Championship side. Get it organised boys!
-
Is Kyle Walkers hair painted on?
-
Good Goal.
Playing with Pires is like playing with 10 men though!

We need a proven manager, we don't need someone who 'could' be one. Whatever happens I just hope the club have thought long and hard about it and make sure that it will be the right decision because if we get rid of Houllier and get someone in who gives us even worse performances and results, imagine everyone's reaction then
I don't actually think it would be possible to give us worse performances and results at the moment.
All right, suppose they were no better ... what would therefore be the purpose of GH's (imagined) exit?
Er..We wouldn't have GH for a start (ok I admit that I have always detested the guy from his time at Liverpool)
But seriously at the moment we have a manager who has won just 3 games out of 16 and we are now hoping that he can win at least twice that amount in about the same number of games? Despite the fact that the performances are going down rather than up. And he has little support from the fans. And he has shown nothing to suggest that he knows how to get us out of the huuuuuge slump he has got us into.
Houllier should have been sacked after the Liverpool game when it became clear he did not really want to be at this club. We would have had time to get a manager in for the transfer period then. But now we are stuck with him and when he eventually gets the sack which he eventually will, it will be to late.
-
I fully expect the club to continue to back Houllier up until the point that it is to late and that the damage is beyond repair, if it is not already so.

So the club have decided to stick by Houllier?
Sadly I think that is the decision that will condemn us to the Championship next season. I hope i'm wrong.

On those words Big Sam is the answer..I cant think of any other manager that can get results with a bunch of shit..
I can think of at least one other manager who certainly could get results with those 'shit' players :winkold:
-
I'm prepared to give him this window so we see who he brings in. If its a load of shit or he loses at Blues, he's ****. There is no way that he'll be accepted if he loses to the scum. This board will go in to apoplectic rage if that happens. Randy needs to fully understand the hate we have for them.
Do you honestly believe any decent players are going to want to come and join us well we languish in the bottom three though?
GH needs to get the squad fighting to stay in this league, just as all the other squads around us (now mostly above us) are doing. We have, on paper, an excellent selection of players - good enough to finish 6th in fact and if a manager can't motivate those players well enough to even gain a respectable placing then he is no kind of manager.
-
We need to win 6 games to stay up, and we have 17 games left to play..
With this tosser in charge, I can't see it happening.
We really are deep in the doodoo. There is no way on this planet that GH has it in him to get us 6 wins out of those last 17 games.
-
The Sunderland was a must win game and we failed to win it. In the end the point we got at the Chelsea game was only a good point if we had won tonight.
Sack GH now and replace him as quickly as possible. In all honesty I can't imagine any manager getting less out of these players than GH has. He should have gone after the Liverpool game when it became obvious his heart wasn't in it.
Sack him we stand a chance of staying up, keep him and we will go down.
-
Excellent performance considering just how bad we have been lately. Begs the question as to why we have had so little commitment up until now?
Now we need to take that fire and performance into the Sunderland game and get all 3 points.
-
I wouldn't question why our players have the yellows they have garnered but the ref should be equal to both teams and at least Terry (for man handling the ref at the penalty) and Essien should be in the book as well.
The Ref is biased.
-
Well that was much better.
Keep it up boys.
-
Well theres a first!
-
Well thats us beat... just a matter of how many now.
-
I'll take a 0-0 bore draw right now. Ant takers?
oh boy yes!
-
If we can stop them scoring in the first half then we have a chance.
If we let them score in the first 20 minutes then we will collapse.
My prediction:
5-0 to Chelsea.
-
Well that was easy
No

Walker had a good game.
Ok in the first half, rubbish in the second. The score flattered us.
It was obvious A Young had lost his head and was only a matter of time before he would get sent off.
Need to improve alot if we want something against the Blues next weekend.
