Try 15 hours! And the sound of it hitting the bar will haunt my dreams for months! There was a lull in the stands before it bounced down and over the line, think I aged about 10 years in that split second.

I can't think of many better games he's played for us than today, he was at them constantly and looked a threat throughout.
-
Some hints at his all round play getting back to what he's capable of today, certainly when running with the ball at the opposition. That miss was terrible though.

I think Archer is decent, but if you count Duran winning the penalty as an assist, they have the same amount of goal contributions in the league this year.
Winning a penalty should never be counted as an assist in a million years.

Theh they need to be told to get to f***. I don't think there's any provision in the fan consultation rules for them to keep things secret, the set of arseholes. (The club, not the people attending).

Did the club ask for the attendees not to share the actual design of the new badge?

"The club liaised with the FA throughout the crest process and the FA have confirmed we are compliant with the rules in relation to the change of a Heritage Asset".
Which provides clarity on the process they've undertaken and the second survey that was sent out, with the FA accepting that the results of that survey are an acceptable indication of fan feeling. As others have said, I think there's a certain amount of 'badge fatigue' and we'd all just like something reasonable that we can adopt and go forward with.
There is a quite clear change of approach in the way Heck will do things as opposed to previous CEO's and I guess it's something we'll have to get used to. He's an autocratic leader, so we'd best hope he's also very good.
Tbus far he comes across as an absolute imbecile. Nothing that he's done or said has been remotely competent.

So, despite the first survey giving the results that a round badge was most popular, is Heck now trying to state that in his survery, everybody's plumped for the original shield instead? If I've got that right, I'm not sure I believe him.

We need better back up to Watkins than either Duran or Archer. There's something about Duran, but I'd say he's every bit an unproven youth player, and if we hadn't paid such a ridiculous fee for him he'd be nowhere near the first team.

Like all reasonable fans I want this guy to come good and be a key part of the team, but - within reason - I think we need to be a bit more ruthless as a club when it comes to recruitment.
The question applied to every player should be ‘would they get into any of the squads that finished above us?’ If at the end of the season the answer is no, we either shouldn’t be looking to sign them permanently, or actively planning to upgrade them.
I really hope Zaniolo makes the grade because I think he’s got it in him to be fantastic, he just needs to show us that in the next 19 games.
Aren't we obliged to buy him after a certain number of games (20?) So he really needs to be showing his worth a lot sooner than that, or we could end up having to shell out £30m+ on a player who hasn't shown very much at all thus far.

I don't care about what the stats say.
Eye test tells me we are shite away from home.
We may have gotten some wins but we aren't playing well.
I completely agree. Other than possibly Burnley , we haven't looked very good in the majority of away games.
Newcastle, Liverpool, Man U - played off the park and battered.
Forest - majority of possession but did nothing with it and no decent attempts at all
Wolves and Bournemouth - came from behind to rescue a point, played quite badly in both of them
Chelsea and Brentford - needed an opponent to be sent off to get the wins
Tottenham - Could have been 4 or 5 down first half, did well second half.

Foreign player in foreign league. He will come good again.
This season would be good. No sign of it though.

I hope he's been fined every penny of his salary for these three matches, and it given to Acorns or somewhere else deserving. He's a frickin' idiot, and his utterly meaningless stupidity has really cost us. Absolutely pointless, you can accept a red card if it's a last ditch tackle against someboy through on goal, but grabbing somebody's face when you're 2-1 up against 10 men? He's a twit.
-
One of our key moves is the pass out to Kamara with him facing our goal. He then spins deftly left or right to pass the ball and beat the press. Dendoncker just can't do that, at best you're going to get a safe pass back 5 years to a defender.

I thought there were signs of him getting to grips with the English game, but that was as poor a defensive display as you're ever going to see. I'll probably calm down tomorrow and remember his good showings against Man City and Arsenal, but tonight the useless shit bastard can be fired into the sun for all I care.

Emery quite often seems to put players in the squad even if they're not fully fit, I guess when you've got two keepers on the bench it means there's nobody else so he might as well come along for the shits and giggles.

I’ve said it since day one, it was a weird transfer. Just didn’t seem to be what we needed at the time and still isn’t. Also odd timing with the manager situation.
Could go on to be a world beater, sure, but it’s going to be a while before we see it, if at all.
I’m just not really a fan of his tbh. Hopefully that will change.
Yep, it was odd. Clearly one they'd been working on that Emery took on board rather than rock the boat. He's not what we need at the moment at all though, needs to go loan in January to the Championship or League 1 and learn to play every week.
-
Nice goal, but he's about as mobile as that tanker that got stuck in the Suez Canal, with an even bigger turning circle. As others have said, fine to bring on to see out the last ten mins of a game, but as a starter, not remotely good enough.

We've got to bring Cash back in and put Konsa back next to Torres. Cash is a better right back than Carlos is a centre back.
