Silva is 30 now and had a poor season, Augero struggles with injury and De Bruyne blows very hot and cold as evidenced by last night.
I don't think there anywhere close to Barcelona and Bayern when he took over.
When you look at it they are 13 points off Leicester. For the money spent on that team it's shocking.

They'll walk the league because they're starting from a position of strength and relative stability. Their main rivals will all be going through a period of transition with only Spurs and Arsenal (lol) likely to really push them imo. All Citeh need is a few world class players in key positions and they're done.
I can't agree here City are a mess at the moment. Arguably the whole defense and midfield has to be scrapped.
Out of tonight's starting 11 2-3 maybe you would keep for a top team. I think he has a massive job to do there.
So many players on big contracts that will be hard to shift.

I guess that ruins the Barcelona conspiracy theories.

I just find whenever I watch them there more than usual play an ugly cynical brand of football. There like a Spanish version of Chelsea under the bad times.

Athletico really are a hard team to like.

I think the ref has handled a bunch of words removed pretty well. The script was written when Atletico went a goal up and started time wasting.
Yeah with the two sides involved it's a horrible game to ref.

I don't think the ref has got much wrong either in fairness. Bar maybe another red.
-
It may go against popular opinion on this site but I hope barca stuff them. I find athelitico a very unlikeable team.
-
Should have been a straight red.

Have to say I enjoyed B vs S. Yes it has a lot of flaws and plot holes but I think it's a far better film than the avengers.
i know it's not a popular opinion but the avengers , after you get over the spectacle in it, is a poor enough film which ruins Loki as a threat and neutralizes any sense of dread with a witty one liner.
Plus batman kicks ass.

Started playing Divinity on the PS4.
Its a game I should love but at the moment it's not really pushing all the buttons for me.
The menu system is rubbish though not intuitive at all. Really takes from the game at times.

Be interesting to see will it be hi jacked by the usual parties over here.
And we definitely didn't give you a kicking. In many ways the rebellion was a complete disaster but it did kickstart a lot.
I think the executions afterwards had more of an impact than the rebellion itself.
The rubberbandits did a pretty decent tongue in cheek documentary on it one night. If I can find it I ll link it.

James Collins might not be great but you hardly ever saw him give less than 100%. Sad how far we ve fallen when we pine for the likes of him.

Even Wolverine was shit in the wolverine movies.
-
Well that was quick.

While he was decent let's not go overboard he was caught badly out of position a few times.
If Ulloa had a better touch we would have lost the game at the end when both our centre backs went missing.

Need someone up front badly. Libor just isn't good enough.

Spurs doing us a favour.

I read Elantris when I heard he was going to be writing wheel of time as I had genuinely never heard of him.
In fairness Wheel of time was my favourite series for a long time.
Some good series on your list there. I m a bit in two minds about Rothfuss. A wisemans fear was excellent but the follow up left a lot to be desired. No sign of the third yet as far as I am aware.

You are aware he finished it as outlined in Jordan's notes?
I don't think you can use WoT as a judge of his work, he was basically writing fan fiction of the ending as imagined by Jordan. If you have read any of the Stormlight Archives, Mistborn series, Elantris or Warbreaker and not liked him then fair enough, You can't make an accurate judgement based on his work on WoT.
I have a dream where GRRM finishes Game of Thrones.
There's a world of difference between his and Jordan's writing. He cant manage a decent battle scene in any of the books I've read of his so far.
His stories always have to have a neat little trick in them or oh remember that one little throw away line I wrote in a book or two ago. That is suddenly hugely important.
I felt a lot of the major scenes were badly handled and rushed (fair enough he had a lot to go through) but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Scenes that had been building for 3-4 books were over in a page and hardly memorable.
The characters felt very off to.
I dont know how he managed to get the gig as he wasnt a fairly well known writer back then but it made him completely. In fairness to the guy hes a writing machine churning out books and listening to his podcast he seems decent enough but he's just not for me. I find his writing style very bland and tries to hard to be overly clever for the sake of it.

The War of the Roses ones pale in comparison to his Conqueror(Genghis Khan) and Emperor(Caesar) books.
George is taking the piss, the book isn't finished so he writes an essay to say so. Sanderson announced on his blog that he has written another novella to tide us over while we wait for Oathbringer.
I find Sanderson very poor though. I didn't like how he finished the wheel of time series the last book was particularly poor.
I have a bad dream where he finishes a game of thrones to.

I enjoyed it but that episode was a bit too much messing around like Inception for me. It's still one of the best programmes on TV.
I liked it to. They were obviously having a bit of fun with it to.
A lot of hints dropped of what is to come.

Anyone know if you can create additional divisions in this in master league. For example can I create division one.

I think it's pretty nailed on in the books the hound is still alive and living with some monks.
