Tbf, I had a look at the kids prices and I’m sure it was £70 for an under 13(?) with an adult season ticket. That’s as close to ‘free’ as you can get for 19 football games :P

Separately, can I ask what you don’t like about the Upper North?

Purely the atmosphere, nothing else really. Same experts sit up there as anywhere else

Imagine that...  Making gossip up and posting it on the internet then threatening legal action against anyone who calls him out on it?  BTW, how many holidays has Mings been on by now?  Is this his 3rd one in two weeks?  hahaha

Well after reading some of his recent tweets he appears to not know his arse from his elbow

  4. Can't justify the outlay at the mo. Cheapest is £370 in upper north but don't really like it up there. Will get to a few games instead for now. Few more years before my 6 year old lad can be trusted to come with me. He'd be on his tablet/phone for most of the time and he can do that for free at home

So he's worth more than £8 🤔 If they want him to go sooner, they'll have to buy his shares. I can't see him selling them cheap. His share will continue to dilute, but the value of his shareholding is likely to stay the same or even increase.

I don't like this repeated theme that he has no money. He had no liquidity for a time, he's still rich compared to most.

I think the £8 jest was lost.. if he was that rich we wouldn't have been in the shit last summer. He's a wannabe in my opinion and will always be a wannabe. I hope they plan to buy him out and end the final page of the worst chapter in recent years.

I'd guess it's something to do with 8 being considered a lucky number in China (because it sounds like the word for wealth or something). China goes mad for anything to do with 8.

Xia had £8 to his name

  7. Already broke transfer record, these guys mean business. Sleeve sponsor, dick sponsor? Who cares, the shirt will look like an F1 car eventually with every part sponsored by someone. As long as it's claret n blue I don't care.

  8. Deano has already said he's aiming for first place, cracking attitude to have. Whilst I doubt few if any fans think this, the fact the people in charge do just speaks volumes about the ambition. I for one will be looking forward to every game believing we have a chance. Man City worry me as they can put 5 or 6 past anyone but not really worried about anyone else. The order they come in doesn't really matter to me, we have to play em all twice.

Michu, Chico, Cazorla, Arteta, Monreal, Azpilicueta all went under the radar even if had Spanish caps and went to big teams

Guy Norwich signed was plucked from nowhere Buendia I think

Searching Google for Guy Norwich, struggling to find a Spaniard. Must have really come from nowehere

Nah, will be 12 alongside Jebus

    Bildresultat för the last supper

Well the average age would have increased which goes against the young n hungry mantra. And theres a woman, not that she can't play. With that line up we'd be crucified

Most Derby fans I encountered on the way home were knobs, total knobs. One guy in particular was desperate for someone to square up to him on the tube, doing his best to try and intimidate everyone around him so I'm pretty sure both sets of fans have their idiots amongst them.

I'd also wager that most people who threw stuff at the bus a) did not realise or consider that kids could/would be on there and b) probably weren't looking to smash a window or cause any actual damage

This is not to excuse nor trivialise the matter but it's easy the day after to point fingers and get on a moral high horse, it's different when you're in the thick of it and have had a few jars.

Just to add, I nor anyone I know was involved in throwing stuff at the bus, just adding some balance.

The first paragraph is fine, the second is the barmiest thing I've ever read. Really wish people wouldn't blame beer, it ain't the beer it's the f****** idiots drinking it. As as for throwing a bottle and not meaning to damage summat, that's the best defence I've heard so far. You must be a lawyer

I don't remember the last time John Percy was wrong about anything. Mings has clearly been bigging up a move himself all over social media the last couple of days, a couple of people who I know have connections at the Villa are saying that it's already almost there, he is getting into spats with Bournemouth fans AOTS for wearing his full kit on the train home(!). I'll be astonished if we don't get this done.

We want it, the player wants it, the captain (pissed admittedly) wants it, as long as the fee is in the reasonable camp, which I'm confident it will be, it will happen sooner rather than later. We won't want to be caught with our pants down, but nor will we want to be faffing about over a few quid for half the summer.

£13-15m seems spot on to me.

Wearing full kit on the train home has made me giggle rather loudly. So funny if true

Wait... some of you wanted him sacked in January? Get out, that can't be true?

I know it was rough but there were a lot of mitigating factors, also we had surely shown enough early doors to earn him time? I feel like my decision to stay away is vindicated.

Yes we have some bonkers people on here. I said Hause could go back to Wolves early on, just shows what I know. I have something in common with Deano but it ain't coaching

  14. Having just watched the Purslow/Smith interview, I have to say I'm flippin excited about what's next. Money and know how is rare these days, we appear to have an abundance of both. Also liked the comments about avoiding loans in the future and we need more John McGinns. God I'm excited, hurry up August
