waiting for a delivery from DHL

16:53 I receive an email to say we've delivered your parcel and its been signed for by Lesley

well that bit could be true , but they don't work here , nor do we have a warehouse which is in the delivery proof picture you took and sent me

there is an estate on the back of us so I wandered around there , found a company that has a shutter door so tried my luck

someone answered and said nope they didn't' receive any DHL delivery today  , now as he's talking to me right behind him is a bright orange trolley type thing with a blue and yellow bucket thingy on top of it

Its EXACTLY the same as the one in the picture DHL sent me when they said they delivered my parcel

I've put it back in the hands of DHL but i guess this bloke decided he really wanted 40 packets of Albert Heijn Paprika crisps from the Netherlands

if DHL don't rectify it on Tuesday , i guess I'm gonna have to go around there and torch his building or kill his first born child or something  , that seems a  proportional response to his theft ..right ?

    What's really in the bags

Last home game of the season being put on a Monday night is a disgrace and should never happen.

Combination of transport and it being very late on a Monday likely means the stadium is half empty.

Yep, it's a complete joke really. The players and coaches deserve it and the fans want to.

Daytime kick off and the place is full, now it will be mostly empty. Me and the lad will stay behind and were are fairly close to pitch but I drive and usually only takes 40 mins. But decision to move it is pretty rubbish

Display looked great but so many people kept folding the card up into airplanes and then throwing them....they were actually really heavy, i got one straight to the back of the head 😂 was quite dangerous at times, as they were so top heavy they plummeted straight down and could have taken someones eye out

I never even thought of doing that, someone spent ages making them and laying them out

  4. My ears were still ringing this morning, there's something different when the whole place gets going, I get some people just wanna sit and watch which is fine but i prefer being surrounded by the noise (not the moaning whinging kind)...

My only gripe (apart from result) were the subs that were in front of us for virtually the whole 2nd half, just standing there watching, they were blocking the lino too and on the pitch. Everyone around was screaming at them to **** off but they were just smirking. A few screwed up cards got thrown at them.

It mainly caused people to have to stand up (which i prefer) but not everyone in C1/2 does.

I wasn't aware it was 1897 that organised the tifo, great idea and now I've seen it, it looked really good.

Their fans were loud and appeared to applaud the incident at half time, I didn't have a clue what was going on.

Hopefully we get a repeat of that atmosphere v Liverpool and we get a lap of honour

I wonder when we'll start to see materials and equipment arrive for the warehouse work over the summer - my understanding is that some of the work in the North Stand on new areas has already started and is visible with new spaces being worked on behind hoardings - there's a lot of stuff planned for this summer and it'll be interesting to see when the club decides to talk about it.

Amazing these people are employed as “experts”

Some Villa fans want these people talking about us more regularly. Why? They don’t know anything.

    Bellends, the lot of them.

    "It's a West Brom job"

I agree, they shouldn't have sacked him on the bus... they should have called him in the dugout

Mate, I'm sure its just the surprise warm weather cooking my brain or something but you've totally lost me. For what its worth, I understand my Mrs perfectly.
The app is shite, gotcha. Agreed. I don't know how you're linking that to what we're talking about but OK.

    I meant no offence

The numbers of NEW fans on the waiting list, I think most of them are members, who go to some games already. So I think a 50k ish capacity would be ok, anything bigger and I just don't think we'd fill it often enough.

Up until 5 years ago it was easy to get a season ticket, members of my family got one in the summer the season we got promoted by just speaking to the Villa and had many options to where there was available seating.

I get that we are doing well and football is immensely popular at the moment but I’m yet to be convinced that we have either 30,000 genuine season ticket waiting list people who would snap up a ticket if it was available now, maybe 10,000 tops or if they would be general sale that we would sell anywhere near 60k in the lower class premier league games especially midweek games.

if it is genuine then the club would build a new stadium or make the stadium redevelopment plans grander but given they haven’t at the moment, they may be thinking the same as me.  If in the summer they lay out grand plans then I will believe it but as of today I’m not convinced the consistent demand is there.

Based on what happened last week I'd say an awful lot on that waiting list are members, so the actual NEW fan number is probably a lot lot lower.

When I last had one (McLeish), at the end of that season I didn't renew and they were literally begging me to have one, was offered discounts and allsorts. I only declined because I had other priorities, not because we were shit... I don't think 30k is accurate
