Just read new article on the OS about Bruce determination to carry on. Was taken in Portugal I think. Closed it and now it's not there anymore. What's that mean then? I'm assuming he's gone

For the record I think he would make a great number 2.... If he's the number 1 then he needs an excellent number 2 etc. If he has a few quid to spend then he may be able to attract a better class of player. Thank god Wilshire has already gone to West Ham

The Belgium players didn't seem too bothered with Martinez but did seem to have something with Henry.

It does seem a big coincidence that someone gives up a huge Salary for doing feck all just at the same time one of the biggest clubs in world football gets partially taken over by some rich folks. I don't think he fancied the Arsenal job cos he thought following Wenger was a hiding to nothing. Whereas here he would be following Bruce, who lets face it ain't no Einstein when it comes to progressive tactics and free flowing football. It would be a massive risk (on both sides) but one that could have big positives for everyone. I'm undecided as I just want some stability, but I also want to be excited.

From what I understand from FFP it was created to prevent clubs going out of business through overspending. What it actually does is prevent anyone doing a Chelsea or Man City and buying success. No idea how many votes it required to pass but I'd hazard a guess that United, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and Man City signed it. Clubs that are still able to spend millions safe in the knowledge their positions in the hierarchy are safe.

3) He ain't selling but is looking for suitable investment. Suitable silent investment I guess as he still wants full control

I'd bet that Putin, Infantino and the Saudi bloke had a few quid on that result.

Just starting to watch this game now, first goal goes in and camera goes to Putin, Infantino and the Saudi bloke. Now I like to have a bet and it looks like the three of them do too. This only looks dodgy because I saw the last few mins of the match earlier and there was a similar reaction after the 5th goal went in. I'd be very surprised if they haven't made a few quid between them today. 

Very happy with this, seems to have excellent attitude and always has. Even when he was in the bomb squad he kept his head down working. Never gonna be the most talented at the club but the perfect attitude and if he's also taken a pay cut then hats off to him.

So the Commercial side of things seems to be getting there now. Bit shocking that we were running hospitality without proper costings and margins. This guy seems to know what he's doing, commercially savvy etc. Shame there will only be him left in the WhatsApp group soon though
