A few years back when Salah played for FC Basel, somebody mentioned him in the transfer thread. Because I follow the Swiss league I was quick to shout that he's not worth signing and is a poor man's Gabby - all pace and can't find the back of the net. That aged well.

He did well to move the ball out of his feet there. Also showed some decent footwork a few minutes earlier but scuffed the shot. 10 minutes, 3 chances, 1 goal - give this man a fair chance!

And what better time than now to try out a potential plan B? We're comfortably mid table and aren't fighting for european places. The season is basically finished for us. Imo Smith should be trying different things now and make sure he's comfortable with implementing a plan B at some point next season (if needed).
