Not many rumours surrounding potential signings for Villa today. Things are happening quietly but surely, I like it. All these people saying 'dream on' with certain potential signings, I think you're in for a shock. You've been living under the Ellis regime for far too long, your mindset will change eventually. The fact that he's in a lesser league and not with the big boys of that league suggests to me that he is very gettable and would welcome a move to England. Forget Bellamy, Smith and Nugent, it's gotta be this lad or Darren Bent for me.

Robbie Fowler?! Please don't try and justify that suggestion. This is the same Fowler that Man City were quite happy to see go?! (The same City that can't score goals for shit!!) The same Fowler that has scored 3 goals in a team that is in the Champions League Final?! (All three goals came from the PENALTY spot) Maybe last year I would have been more open to it, but we don't need a Robbie Fowler, it's merely a stop gap move that will see him just soak money out the club and not do much for us. If we were after someone like Fowler, we would have surely kept JPA, because JPA would have offered us a lot lot more. Fowler was once so deadly, but he can't hack it at Premiership level anymore, and we are no longer run by Ellis.

Is this Spurs fan Martin Jol or somit?! If you are so certain about Darren Bent signing like you've said:- 'Sign within the next 7 days', why are you only 95% certain Bent is signing?! Why leave that element of doubt if your so certain? Why 7 days if fee and wages have been agreed? 7 days for a medical?! Pull the other one. You're just leaving yourself time for this transfer to MAYBE happen. Stop guessing and stop saying Villa aren't getting him and we are. You don't know anything mate, just like the rest of us.
