  1. If this happens, could somebody please edit the Disco Lambo gif to include Hoolahan river dancing next to him? ....... please?
  2. Surely thats that then. Can't imagine Hughton refusing to deny he was leaving unless he was nailed on to go. It will happen on the final day of the window when the brinkmanship has run its course and a fee is agreed. Or at 12:01 tomorrow so he won't be eligible for Wednesdays match.
  3. Rob Butler @BobRutler Three quarters of 'McVeigh and Butler' - every Thursday at 6pm on BBC Radio Norfolk. #canarycall presenter after every #ncfc game home and away, rain or shine Rob Butler ‏@BobRutler5h Hughton also said as far as he is concerned Hoolahan is the only unhappy player who wants to leave. #ncfc Followed by Nick Mashiter Expand Reply Retweet Favorite More Rob Butler ‏@BobRutler5h I asked Chris Hughton if he could still see Hoolahan leaving this week... He wouldn't commit to a definite answer on that one. #ncfc
  4. Yevhen Konoplyanka? I think Liverpool are interested. Could you have misheard?
  5. So NCFC may want Eunan O'Kane. AVFC are also linked so is this a tactic to say "sell us Hoolahan, else we'll buy your target instead'..? Surely things like this don't happen in professional football.
  6. Twitter saying that we're in a race with Norwich to get this guy... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eunan_O'Kane
  7. If Figo's for less that £10M i'd be very surprised.
  8. Probably a 2m loan fee until the end of the season, couldn't see PL being that stupid offering 2m for an up and coming Barcelona academy graduate who has just broken into the first team. I thought that but that would equate to around 125K a week for an 18 year old striker!
  9. I think it says we offered 2M Euro for him. It also mentions the Metro. 2M Euro for someone who Barca see as their next big thing, nope.
  10. Stepping back, it makes no sense for NCFC to sell Hoolahan for £750K to a rival, especially when there is uncertainty as to whether their current manager is going to be around much longer and also considering that if a new manager did come in with a different style then Hoolahan could become an important and pivotal player for them once again. From AVFC's point of view, lets not scrap around for a whole month for a £750K AM, please.
  11. He'll be commuting from the north if this happens. Apparently part of the deal would be to pick Lowton up on the way to training.
  12. Nick Mashiter tweeted earlier that he knows who WH was offered to and it doesn't sound very inspiring. Nick Mashiter ‏@nmashiter_star Know who several of the clubs Hoolahan was offered to and they aren't huge. So such a determined pursuit draws a wry smile. #avfc Nick Mashiter ‏@nmashiter_star Have to smile as Hoolahan was one of the first players Lambert tried to sell at #ncfc - offered around to clubs at a knockdown fee. #avfc
  13. The fact that Wes Hoolahan is an anagram of "Ha Ha Now Lose" kinda puts me off. ............ Yes I am that bored with lack of signings
  14. Dale Stephens!!!! We go again........ (I know the source is suspect) http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/aston-villa-fc-transfer-news/39001-villa-prepare-midfielder-swoop.php?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter#.UuGAn9LFKUk
  15. So who is this Mohamed Elyounoussi fellow who's allegedly been seen with villa scouts?
  16. Is it wrong that the main reason I want this to go through is so Hoolahan can provide the assist to Holts winning goal against Norwich in March?
  17. Nothing exciting but semi-interesting......... http://www.thestar.ie/star/hoolahans-whel-of-furtune-40125/
  18. Not sure Jores knew what he was retweeting. Oops! @C_Clark_6 only another month with this shite of a defender then @JoresOkore is back!! #AVFC retweet!
  19. Or more likely that WH will be the main AM which will allow a young and hungry trier to be developed to take his place.
  20. Another snippet on Kiyotake (sorry) ITK - Ooomph! http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=id&u=http://sportsatu.com/2014/01/21/aston-villa-kembali-ajukan-tawaran-untuk-hiroshi-kiyotake/&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dkiyotake%26sa%3DX%26espv%3D210%26es_sm%3D93%26biw%3D1368%26bih%3D643%26tbs%3Dqdr:h
  21. Oh good, linked to another striker. http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/premier-league-news/38757-villa-and-albion-pursue-interest-in-le-fondre.php#.Ut2KS9LFKUk Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are set to make a move for Reading’s leading scorer, Adam Le Fondre. “He’s one of several prospects we’re monitoring at the moment,” confirmed one of Villa boss, Paul Lambert’s backroom staff to SportsDirect News. “He’s got a track record of scoring goals at the highest level – and we need to boost our ability to score goals. “Playing in the Championship means Le Fondre wouldn’t command a massive fee, so it could be a real win-win for us. “The final decision lies with the gaffer (Lambert), but as far as I know our interest is very serious.” HH, is that you?
  22. Premier League: Garth Crooks's Team of the Week DEFENDER - RON VLAAR (Aston Villa) Aston Villa's Ron Vlaar was hugely impressive in defence against Liverpool and could not have done any more to keep Uruguay international Luis Suarez at bay. Did you know? Vlaar has the best tackle success rate (86%) of any of the 13 Villa players to make 10+ tackles this season (30/35).
