Why? Is the poll not working on your computer ( Because I'm obviously not happy with how things are currently at VP. But it's hard to explain. Because I think the manager is excellent, and I think Randy, General K and the board, along with the people working behind the scenes at VP are brilliant. So I'm sort of stuck. When the unmovable object meets the unstoppable force and all of that. I just can't work out in my head what's going on. Perhaps it's something about Villa. Perhaps there always has to be something going on. Dunno. I've just lost the thing of actually caring at the moment. Just roll on the start of the season. If we are great then ace, and if we are crap then oh well.

Impossible to answer for me.

General, I've bought the home shirt. I've bought the new season ticket. I went to the Intertoto game. Please convince me that it's worth shelling out more money for the UEFA Cup qualifying game. Please convince me why I should go to see a team without one fullback in the squad. I am just feeling like I can't be bothered anymore. I can't be bothered to spend even more money when the club don't even have players to fill in the eleven positions of the football pitch.

If it means we can start buying then yes. If it has no impact on our buying to make the fuss we have and then not get what we said we'd only sell for will make us look a bit silly, so no.

I think we'd have all taken the result before the game tonight, General. It's a very good result and I don't know if you can/do pass on messages to the AVFC squad, but if you do get the chance then please do pass on congratulations to the team for a decent result in hard conditions. Craig Gardner in particular never stopped going despite not being comfortable in what he was asked to do, and it's just a shame that a certain other player (well, one really - the one left back at Bodymoor waiting for someone to pay up the cash now he's made a fool of himself) isn't as committed as Craig.

Whilst the ticket pricing is very much appreciated, as is the attempt to obviously get in as many fans as possible to get us into the UEFA Cup Qualifying, at this point I think it's worth pointing out that the fans have been turning out in force home and away for quite some time and will continue to do so. However, as you are well aware - we need players. The fans are doing their bit, and we need the work going on to buy players to work no matter what this time - unlike January and to a certain extent last Summer - otherwise go into the season with this tiny squad and to have Europe will be worse for the club that not being in Europe.
