Used to follow him over transfer window, but then i left twitter a couple of years ago. I seem to remember he didn’t know much but had a couple of contacts in certain clubs that were mostly correct. We aren’t in a position yet to have two players like Dinge and Couthino on the wages they are on to be playing as alternatives. Another year or two maybe.

To be fair he hasn’t got rid of much. We virtually gave Wes away and nakamba was always going at that price. We still have the 5 or 6 players who are costing us a fortune and aren’t going to play much. ie Hause, Couthino, Dendonker, chambers, Traore, Davis. Even Digne who is on alot of money for a backup.

I went to watch this show at cinema with an ex. Had a few drinks before hand. Came out at end and said I didn’t think Sylvester Stallone was in it. Turned out I went into the screening beside it which was showing copland.

I’m just back from spain from my annual holiday and i was taken aback by the amount of Spanish teenagers wearing English prem tops. City was the big one but believe it or not there was a good few with Villa tops. More so than pool or utd. With our Spanish connections and South American players, we could be tapping into a new market.

The amount of points Martinez saved us in games last year was crazy compared to 90% of top keepers who wouldn’t have. You are probably talking at least 10points. I wouldn’t sell him for south of 80m. Means to much. Plus his passing with his feet is excellent, which is massive part of Emery game. Utd would have kept de gea id he could have kicked with his feet. So important for top teams now adaya

We just paid what teams wanted when dr t was there. Fulham laughed all the way to the bank with mccormick. We have a bad history on overpaying imo. Thankfully those days are long gone.
