    He'd want more than 25k a week and would cost more than 3m Wish we could just break the wages rule for one star signing, its something we desperately need, he can play on the wings too to accommodate gabby upfront. Although something tells me if spurs do come sniffing he will end up there. Strurridge will be a deadline day coup for someone I reckon

    Merse and co reckon sturridge is surplus to requirements, with avb ruling out a striker, everton and sunderland done in the strkiker buusiness, just leaves liverpool, not sure about newcastle but if we could somehow pull this off the optimism would be back, come on lerner get your wallet out!     agreed, i hate the fact we have two very talented players who lack consistency in the middle. You just do not know what you will get with those two, too many If's with them and would prefer to have just one of them rather than 2 senior inconsistent players

    Thank god, do not want any of those two near villa park. i really hope we can sign at least 3 players, i would be pleased with that, ideallly 4 but a LB, striker and midfielder would bode well plus we have gabby, marc and richard dunne returning soon

    Creswell and benteke? Hmmm if there was someone more credibler with this news I would have believed it but begs the question how the hell does he know so much? I reckon we will all be thoroughly dissapointed, wasn't creswell priced too high?
