Only one thing for it....
"In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The DIY SOS Team."

Hibs have the angry little dwarf as manager nowadays.
Be nice to make him cry again about where the away fans have to sit.

Got mine yesterday, not overly bothered that there is no welcome pack or that it came 2nd class - after all we didn't used to get anything like that years ago and last years pack is still unused.
I'd prefer the money they saved on key rings, scarves, pens etc. was used to maybe give season ticket holders vouchers for use in the club shop/holte suite/fan zone or similar.

Someone I know has been given 2 lovely framed photographs of the 1957 cup winning side with all the players signed autographs, and one of the 1982 European cup winning side also autographed by each player. I was wondering if anyone would have an idea how much they could be worth.
I was trying to download photos from my gallery but couldn't find the link for VT.
Priceless

What is the best way of removing the sponsor name off the shirt without leaving any marks ?
First 30 degree wash usually does the trick, if I'm recalling previous comments/complaints correctly

I'm not convinced by this, there looks far too much detail on the lion than the badges on the home and away kits.

has anyone actually seen one alive? only ever seen them dead at the side of the road
Seen a few alive.
Seen more dead, like you say in the side of the road. What you'll notice is that they have very little damage to their bodies or blood around them, this is because the farmers gas them and lay them at the side of the road so it looks like they've been hit by a car.

Where have those tweets gone from the chap who claimed to be an ex agent, or has agent friend, saying that Torres would sign and wear the 14 shirt?
Turns out he was right.

The thing with Darren Bent was when he signed he had Young on one side supplying crosses for tap ins and Downing on the other doing the same thing. Bent thrived on that kind of service.
At the end of that season both Young and Downing were sold so cutting off Bent's supply line, he was never the type of striker who was going to search for the ball and drop deep or run onto balls played in behind.

Isn't this a mock up that somebody posted on here a month or so ago?
Also the sleeve sponsor is incorrect.

Controversy here....
Alex McLeish - at times he could only put out a midfield of Chris Herd and Ciaran Clark, he had an out of sorts N'Zgobia with Gabby and Heskey as our main strike partners for about half a season (Bent got a season ending injury if I remember right?) - had the tragedy that befell Stilyan Petrov midway through and our only real consistency was Collins and Dunne. In hindsight a side that should have got relegated, but he kept us up signing Grealish to a longterm deal, blooding in (out of necessity) Andi Weimann and somehow remained dignified throughout, knowing he was up against it from the off joining us from down the road..
Putting to one side where McLeish came from and his style of football I think that he was very badly treated by nearly everyone from the Villa at the time.
With all the controversy surrounding his arrival, the protests etc, he must have known from the start it wouldn't end well when on his press unveiling not one representative from Villa was alongside him.

Everton have unveiled their home kit for the 2023-24 season, with the club saying it "celebrates a much-loved traditional element of Goodison Park".
For the first time in more than a decade, the Toffees' home shirt has a collar, which features Goodison’s famous Archibald Leitch pattern on its trim.
Manchester United's new home kit for the 2023-24 season has been revealed, with the club saying it represents the "deep connection between Manchester and its rich industrial heritage".
United added: "It pays homage to the city's iconic red rose in a stunning geometric design and draws inspiration from the bridge over the River Irwell, which connects Manchester and Salford and stands as a symbol of the city's strength and its profound impact on the world during the industrial revolution."
Wolves have released their 2023-24 away kit - which is "inspired by the geometric architecture and tile patterns found around the Iberian Peninsula".
Unveiling the new red strip, the club added: "The new red away strip will provide Wolves’ southern European players with a taste of home as they head on their travels this season."
Tottenham Hotspur have revealed their new home kit for the 2023-24 season.
For the first time since the 2012-13 campaign, Spurs return to an all-Lilywhite outfit, including shorts and socks.
On realsing the strip, the club said: "The subtle pattern of overlapping circles and lines seen throughout draws inspiration from the sounds of London N17 and the area’s broadcasting history."
Sorry for the long post, and there are plenty more that could have been added, but why cant a club just go here's the new shirt, based on absolutely nothing other than our traditional colours.

Having watched that video I think its the yellow/gold 8 and crown that make the sponsor look so bad, if it was all white maybe it wouldn't be such an eyesore.

You could live in Stoke, which is equi-distance (approximately) from Brum and Manchester...........but that opens up a whole new debate about shit cities!!
